Crysis with 3 displays (6060x1080 resolution) and your unexampled modifications (for example, XtremFX 1&2) are legendary, especially in slow motion. ;)

Now, Crysis 2 with the official High-Res Texture update and dx11, with current maximum settings in 3D Vision Surround, is incredible and with distance the best 3D experience generally. It tops easily everything!

Hard to believe, it is currently the best Engine on the market.

In my opinion, some stuff that crysis 2 needs, are:

1) More Vehicles (Importing somehow the ones of Crysis 1 would be great

2) Some Assets from Crysis 1 (Trees, textures and so on) since, making maps with the current ones, is generally limited to Urban Environments.

3) More Dynamic explosions. (Meaning that, while in Crysis 2 a single explosion might look nice, if you pile up a bunch of cars for instance and blow them up, the resulting explosions as a whole are far less impressive.)

4) More Dynamic particles (Blood, Sparks, fragments, and all the stuff that you implement so artistically :P)

5) What would also be interesting is a Sound-Delay mod. I know it was impossible to create in Cryengine 2, but i am not sure if the same goes for CryEngine 3.

@JustMeAndMyGames What if I prefer to maximize options over ease of use? What if I enjoy simulators like MSFS, ARMA or DCS where there's 50+ button functions and I have to know what each button does in order to be a competent player?

Besides, complexity maintains the demographic I prefer to play with. Simplicity brings in too many kids who don't care about real tactics, they just want to skirmish.

@JustMeAndMyGames Obviously you use hotkeys, I use the interface. The interface is extremely unresponsive in cry2. In cry1 it worked perfect because it was made for use with a mouse, not a console gamepad.

If you use hotkeys or a gamepad, then sure I could see why you'd say it's easier... But for those of us who were fans of the original there's a whole list of "What they f***ed up in Crysis 2".

I've been using the MaLDo Mod so far, but the game needs a complete texture, FX, shadows etc. overhaul. It still has a very long way to go before it looks like anything close to Crysis 1 mods.

nice to see you returning to the modding arena once more! i recently played killzone 3 on ps3 and couldnt help but feel graphically - killzone was the game crysis 2 was meant to be...

crysis 2 for me was a huge disapointment in so many aspects - the graphics werent bad - but they werent as awe inspiring at the original crysis

Crysis 2 is DX10, there is only a setting in the game that allows you to turn on DX11 if you want, DX11 is pretty much useless anyway, basically dose almost nothing for the game.

do you use the DX11 patch with extreme settings? it already beats crysis 1 with that, the only "graphical" advantage of crysis 1 is that crysis 1 plays in a jungle which is more beautiful than cities in general :P

A nice mod would be to be able to have the full set of suit powers turned on at the same time.Also , being able to ADS while weapon laser's turned on would be cool.
