Easter, Christmas & Halloween are all pagan and Christians should not celebrate them. Just read your Bible. You will see that God is jealous and we are not to combine pagan with real worship here are some verses if you need clarity: Jer 10:2-3, Dt 12:30-32, Dt 12:29-32, Exodus 32:1-10, 1Co 10:19-22, 2Co 6:14-18. Chrisitans should worship God the way he dictates in order to show devotion. Using untruth to celebrate the one True God is blasphemy.
I am a Falun Gong practitioner. Falun Dafa is a cultivation system in the Buddha School based on the principles of the Universe: 真 Truthfulness 善 Compassion 忍 Forbearance.
Since 1999 it has been brutally persecuted by the CCP in China. People are being killed, tortured, put into concentration camps and have organs harvested from live people, simply because of their belief. More than 3400 Falun Gong practitioners have died at the hands of CCP in the past 12 years.
I dont understand how you could read books about babylon and still believe in the bible and christianity and praying. didnt you read about the epic of gilgamesh? the original bible, with the original genisis and noahs flood? christianity is 100%....b,bb,bb,b,..b.....bu.......b...bu...b.b..........BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok the word "easter" is in acts 12:4, anyone know what the word is doing there, or what the origonal language pronounciation of that word is? I understand fully that eggs and bunnys have nothing to do with the deathe and ressurection of my saviour and count that all as paganism.. Oh I have that book, shall read it and see if he answers my question...GBU also
@ASeedSower234 -shall answer myself...Passover...now I wonder why the KJV says "Easter" is it because the festival called "Easter" was approximately at the same time as the Passover..or am I chasing the rabbit up the wrong tree?
@ASeedSower234 It is because Acts, chapter 12, tells us that it was the evil King Herod, who was planning to celebrate Easter, and not the Christians or disciples of Yahweh
@EndIgnoranceb42012 -Yes, I questioned several trusted Christian friends and place my questions on FB and got some terrific answers, and thanks for yours..
Well done Lazbo, love the Conan soundtrack music too. For the uninitiated: the co-opting of the rituals and beliefs of one religion by another is called SYNCRETISM. It has happened since there were religions.
What more does this proof of christanity being a pagan man made religion by constantine and paul the deivl worshipping pagans whoa re both burning in hell
jesus a white man from alabama bullshit
christainty is made for white supermacy and a tool of the devil worshipping freemasons christians have no relevance with God of Jesus only with paul and constantine who worshipped the devil and decieved the christians
I feel I must point this out. Although I am not christian I don't think anyone should be telling anyone that their believe is wrong. And yes there is always interpretations and mistranslations that get in the way expeshully with the bible. Such as the line "thou shall not suffer a witch to live" is ment to be "thou shall not suffer a poisoner to live" two very different meanings.
I would also like to point out that even science is a religion.
I'm not criticizing the bible, I call it how I see's it. Empty your programmed mind and see it for what it is. A 2000+ year old book. Written by people who by no fault of their own had very little factual knowledge of how the world worked.
I'm criticizing what people do with this book NOW. What they do with these antiquated beliefs systems. Thus perpetuating, stereotypes, Cultural wars, division, violence, death and tragedy All the while claiming to have absolute truth and knowledge.
@lazbo4174 "The ancients understood well how the "world worked" That is a laughable statement. The Bible, the Torah and the Koran all have verses that can only be read in a literal sense... There is no misinterpretation. Woman are treated as property like chattel, people who reject the faith are to be killed, genocide is to be perpetrated against infidel tribes. These holy books are full of Barbarism, that only an ignorant people could beleive in. These books have no place in the modern world.
You claim those who read Torah, Tanakh and the Bible are ignorant but let me ask you what you actually know about these books. Have you read them with the Hebrew mind in the Hebrew language as they were originally written? There is a mathematical precision to it almost unintentionally. There are over 100 scientific facts in it before these things were known. So far many prophecies have been fulfilled and many more being fulfilled nowadays. You are too impressed with yourself!
@weiliiiiiii - Nice try with the ad homonym attack.... but fail... , I have no religious crutch, unlike you... You call it bible bashing, because your the fragile one... I call it literary criticism... of a particular myth filled with bad memes.. and lessons on how the Jewish people constantly screwed up, because they invented rules that they themselves could not follow...
Christianity at it's core is immoral... Like ALL religion .. It's escapism... it's bullshit
@Lazbo4174 - The bible didn't do anything for you.. your crutch, that is... a belief in an imaginary being helped you... Your imagination, a simulacrum. No more helpful than carrying around a lucky rabbits foot.
So yes , in the end it is a bad thing.... until you learn to help yourself.
But if your happy placing your mind in a non- reality than by all means... go with the placebo effect.
@EveryHumanBeing I appreciate your response but I have heard it all before. You criticise my experience and yet you have no idea what I have experienced, you compare a person's faith in God with "carrying around a lucky rabbits foot" and yet, judging by your comments, you have never experienced the results of a faithful relationship with God.
I have some questions...
what motivates you to post such comments? Are you looking for a debate/argument? Are you concerned for my well being?
@lazbo4174 I'm not criticizing your experience, I'm generalizing it. You assume your subjective experience cannot be understood or explained by none other than yourself. As everyone does. - A belief in faith and a belief in luck are very similar. Is so and so just lucky or is God on his side? or Perhaps they Just excel that well naturally?-- A relationship infers two way communication, which is not the case with a God that provides NO evidence for it's existence let alone communication. So no.
@EveryHumanBeing You stated... "A relationship infers two way communication, which is not the case with a God that provides NO evidence for it's existence let alone communication" I speak to Him every day, He always answers and in many different ways, you are of course free to question this or explain it away. Maybe if you had seen what I've seen you'd think differently. There is ample evidence of His existence, the intricacy of creation declares His glory.
@EveryHumanBeing Yeah-I guess being intellegent beings with a conciousness that thrive on a perfect sphere that sits on a perfect axis and rotates around a sun that actually provides essential vitamins threw the rays...Also-if you break any material down to its smallest form will show a perfect geometrical(fingerprint of God)-But yeah-definetely no proof-it probably just happend on accident....
@Jeenyus1983 You use teh word perfect as if that word has some basis in reality... There is not a perfect known in the natural universe. Perfection is just a man made concept. BTW the earth is not a perfect sphere , it is far from being a perfect sphere. So when you make a statement make sure it is based in reality and you get your facts straight.
Christmas and Easter both have both Christian and Pagan roots. Being neither Christian nor Pagan but having friends belonging to both of these faiths, I don't have much of a problem with that.
I say "Happy Easter" to anyone who celebrates it, and a happy beautiful spring day to anyone who doesn't.
@EveryHumanBeing No that is not a bad thing, if it helped you then do not listen to what others say if it is negative. Usually people who bash the Bible are just crying out for attention, or they have not found anything to make them happy. I mean why bash the Bible if you do not believe in in? This is a clear sign of someone crying out, also many have been conditioned to hate the Bible, their minds are weak because of being brainwashed by the new world order.
The Romans became A Christian Empire under Constantine. Their rich pagan traditions changed blended with Christian ones. This simply proves that cultures are dynamic. Everything changes, nothing stays the same. It's just the transmission from generation to generation, that makes it feel as if it's been in a certain way forever.
Over the years we have all been lied to by many false Religous Leaders and so called prophets. Many things we have been taught are not even in Scripture and millions have swallowed so many lies by these false leaders. If you are a truth seeker please visit the web site which is displayed in our user name and take the time to read some of the articles... You will be very shocked.
There is a great audio there for you to listen to. You will come away asking many questions.
I've never been in any born again church nor protestant church who doesn't celebrate "easter". It is called reurection sunday (sorry for the spelling error at 3:30am)
The sad thing is that many believers[I used to be one] did things without questioning them. Like sunday, easter, christmas. We are told not to go beyond what is written. My people perish for a lack of knowledge. Did not the Jews get in troulbe for mixing pagan religion with what God told them, but somehow we now thing it is okay. We all beleive God does not change, Jesus the same today , yesterday and forever. So we must ask ourselves about these changes/adding to!
Look at the Roman Catholic Church, that's where it all starts. With the Pope. Because he is "supposedly" allowed to change gods laws and times. Hah! Daniel 7:25 "And he shall THINK to change Gods times and laws." THINK. because in reality, he can't.
Wll I can tell you that the Bible is real...and Jesus said if you cant believe all the words of Mosse how can you believe all the words I have told you? so if you don't believe all the Bible...how can you believe what Jesus said? you might just be making a fake God...but Jesus is the truth! and the Bible is the word of GOD!!!!!
EAster is called Easter. Maybe it's called Ostara. I find it hard to believe that out of all the 1500+ religions of world, Christianity is only one that is over copied.
It called easter, not ostara I never heard of that ostara. Christianity is over copied because it's the one and only true religion. GOD is my GOD is real all those pagan gods are just impostas!!!!
so, in the bibe (book of genesis) God took clay and fashioned it into a man. he breathed life into his nostrils. God decided Adam was lonely, so he put hhim to sleep, took out a rib and "bent is and stretched it" into a woman. then a talking lizard gets us to eat a forbidden fruit. the origin of species. coudl you explain?
Well, how do you suggest we were cerated? I am a frim believer in God all his prophescies have came to pass or coming to pass, For some one not be real, sure cause a lot of controversy, and all of his words are so very true. For God to be some made up person and the bible to be fasle, whoever wrote the bible which is the only true words of God that other false religion stole from. Everything in the Bible is true and happing now. If it a lie then the some one must be a good fortune teller.
Here is the REAL, not pagan, but REAL history of Easter. God (the Son) came to the world in the form of a man and was born. he lived an amazing life, healing sick, making the blind see, and attracting a band of followers. Eventually His Holiness was crucified, but three days later He resurrected, proving that He is the Christ. This event has been celebrated for years by Christians. No paganism!
At 1:20, the egg is a symbol of life. What does Easter celebrate? The Ressurection of Christ Jesus our Lord! also, where is a bunny mentioned in the Bible? Not once, but then again, bunnies came into the Northern European Catholic worship, or maybe Protestant, eaither way the pictures of Italian easters never mention bunnies. Also, passover is a bigger focus of Easter season, not a pagan holiday.
nice work, the pagans or illuminati as they are now are the ones who infiltraed the real word of god each time it was sent down.check the history of jesus and the BIBLE,on the cover of the first english bible u will see the mosans logo(illuminati)king james version
watch -the divie book
watch-left out of the bible
if u want to follow what jesus said, did go to the original,it exits.
Well, here is what Wikipedia says about your book. It is has been recognized by scholars as discredited and has been called a "tribute to historical inaccuracy and know-nothing religious bigotry" with "shoddy scholarship, blatant dishonesty" and a "nonsensical thesis".
One should NEVER use wikipedia as a source. It's an open forum. Anyone, you or I let's just say, can go on there and post that post that Abraham Lincoln was a candy shop owner his entire life and it'd stay that way until someone else changed it.
I am well aware of the pagan origins of the cross. To me what Messiah did on and leading up to the cross is important, aswell as what He is doing even now.
Actual time-frame for Yahushuas birth was end of Sept to beginning of Oct- within a weeks time. It certainly was not not Dec 25 which is the b-day of Tammuz, son of the sun-god. Whom are you really worshipping?
Tammuz, son of the sun-god was born on Dec 25, correct. But I think Jesus was born on October 22, 04 B.C. People don't realize how much Paganism was brought into the church. Constantine was smart and changed Ishtar, The Sun God, and Tammuz, to Mary, God, and baby Jesus.
We do not know the exact day of Yahushua Messiahs birth, however the Word makes it clear it occurred during the week of the Feast of Trumpets- befitting considering His second coming will be at the last Trumpet again. Anyone proclaiming to be a believer should know the Word. In Matthew, the time frame for His birth is shown in the birth of John the Baptist and his parents of whom his father was of the Levitical priesthood- KNOW the Jewish calendar, there is a lot of truth there!
I have thought Yeshuas' birthday would be on Feast of Tabernacles since that is when He tabernacles with us. I had not thought to compare this to John the Baptists birth timing!! I am going check out Matthew right now! This is incredible. Thank you!!!
"Easter Sun-rise Services" that Christians do at Easter? Ezekiel 8:15-16- Then He said, Have you seen this, O son of man? You are to see still greater abominations than these. And He brought me into the inner court of the House of יהוה. And there, at the door of the Hĕḵal of יהוה, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the Hĕḵal of יהוה and their faces toward the east, and they were bowing themselves eastward to the sun.
More facts to consider: How about the 40 days of Lent (Catholic tradition), where did that come from? It came from the 40 days of "weeping for Tammuz"- Tammuz was the son of the "sun-god" (Nimrod) and his wife Semeramis, who was born December 25. Ezekiel 8:13-14- And He said to me, You are to see still greater abominations which they are doing. And He brought me to the door of the north gate of the House of יהוה, and I saw women sitting there, weeping for Tammuz. More to follow.
All Abrahamic faiths are based upon Paganism. Infact Egyptians & Indo-Aryans practiced the belief of Monotheism before the ancient Israelites. Also, it is rumored the word Israel is broken up to mean two distrinct gods-- Isis-Ral.
And the Flood myth is recording the ancient Aryans migrating from the Black Sea (which has been flooded) into India & Europe.
This is not to say these religions are false, just misinterpretted.
yes must holidays are of Pagan Origins, you can not mix good with bad..
That why I don't celebrate most holidays...
just do what the bible says do not what man makes up... That's very serous People celebrate and do holidays not knowing the Origins and by that are worshiping false gods not ever thinking about it..
There is no such thing as a 'false god', as you are only meant to worship the Divine light that is within you. Christianity, Judaism, & Islam are 100% Paganistic in origin, which has been proven time and time again. This is not to say they are false, as all major religions are True, they (Abrahamic ones) are taken way too literally,to the point people use them to justify violence & war.
you should learn the name of the holiday in other languages and what that means there, its not called easter in other christian nations and languages.
ssszar, So what your implying is that origins do not matter? If God wants us to worship him in spirit and in truth, why would it be Christian to celebrate a holiday that has nothing to do with Jesus? Much more if it has pagan roots? Would you eat a piece of candy if it came from the sewer? Orgins do matter ssszar. Godbless
Ssszar, the only thing Christ, about Christmas is the name. Everything from the Christmas tree, the Yuele, the day 12-25 (Birthday of Mirtha and Baal) We do not know Jesus Birthday. All these traditions are Pagan. Go to my page and on my favorites there is a video that talks all about the past traditions of Christmas.
I can't do the topic proper justice within a 500 char count. I can say that I really do believe that God has given us His word, that it is perfect, that its translation to English for us was inspired...
A little research can illustrate the dangers of using translations from corrupted sources as a foundation for doctrine.
If you were the Adversary, would you attack everything else, but not Scripture? It's a topic that I recommend for sincere study.
i have looked into the origins of certain translations and also the background of certain translators such as Hort and Westcott those responsible for the NIV bible, a very poor version indeed.
i have a very interesting book entitled New Age Bible Versions written by Gail Riplinger
The only problem i find with the AJK is the weakness of the English language when it is compared to the Greek and Hebrew, some of the meaning is slightly lost in translation. but i have found no error as yet myself.
I think the problem is not a weakness in the English language, but that we don't know enough about the English language.
Hebrew and Greek have limitations, too. If God can write in Greek, he can also write in English. The Holy Spirit has a record of breaking language barriers. The question becomes, "Did God inspire this?"
Re Esword, yes. Esword can show the source of the English words. I've learned a little Greek and Hebrew from the AKJ text this way. It has good search functions, also.
I believe in one creator Yah most high Elohim. I believe a man was chosen, raised up and anointed by Yah to rule the world, Jesus the Messiah. I believe Jesus was raised from the dead by his Elohim (God) Yah! I do not believe Jesus existed in being before his birth or conception in the womb of his human mother! Jesus' existed in the Old Testament only in Yahs promise of his coming!
Jesus rising from the dead is just creepy. WHY would you people want to put a dead tortured man walking around in the middle of a celebration of spring?
As you know in reality Easter does not have anything to do with Christianity. It is a pagan festival that coincided with Messiah's death, burial and ressurection, it was introduced into the Catholic Church as well as others to appease half converted pagans
No, the celebration of easter has EVERYTHING to do with Christianity. Its the celebration of Christs Resurection, which wrote in stone that HE was THE MESSIAH. The early Church *CHANGED* the festival to one that celebrates the Resurection and not pagan deities.
If I took a Monet paiting from a museum, whitewashed it with bleach, painted a new image on it, and then put it back where it was, is it still that Monet? Sure it may have been the before, but now theres something completely different.
They are not teachings of the Church, much like luck and leprachauns are not a part of the feast of St. Patrick. They are old customs from the pagan past that survived through the culture of society. At the Easter Mass, I have never seen bunnies or eggs in the Church, nor ever heard a mention of them as a part of the holiday. Dont confuse teachings of the Church with customs of society. They are two completely different things.
are you saying that people should not celebrate christ's resurrection?----or are you saying that people should celebrate christ's resurrection without adding these things that are derived from paganism??
it is true that god said, "learn not the way of the heathen." this raises the question: what about people who do things that are similar to what some heathens did, even though the people don't know about the heathen origins?? would such people be guilty of learning the way of the heathen even though they don't know about the heathen?
that verse deals with people who practice evil. i'm not so sure that people commit evil when they unknowingly engage in practices
that resemble something done by pagans. if a person puts up a statue of the easter bunny without knowing of its pagan origins, i don't see how he is any more condemnable than the person who puts up a statue of batman. actually, this raises a question. here is the question: do you have problems with people who have statues of batman?????
the Bible is clear in the second Commandment, it states that we are not to WORSHIP statues/idols. So if a person worships a "batman statue" or a statue of anything that is... "in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth" then the Most High has a problem with them. And is is the job of true Christians to warn people of such things. do you agree??????
i say you're right about the batman statue, yet you are treating the easter bunny issue differently from the batman issue. you're criticizing the display of easter bunny statues regardless of whether someone worships them. the mere display of easter bunny statues is bothering you in a way that is different from the way a display of batman statues would bother you.
my friend i think the video is clear... i am simply revealing the origin of such things, it is up to the watcher at to what he or she does with the information
Were they mentioned or worshipped in the service itself? Like I said, traditions that survived through society; NOT TEACHINGS OF THE CHURCH. Eggs and bunnies ARE FOR KIDS, they dont know any better. How many Christian adults think easter has to do with bunnies and eggs and not with Christs Resurrection? We dont worship bunnies and eggs, nor even mention them in the service, and until you can prove we do, i suggest you find out what Christians really practice on Easter Sunday.
If you did that to a Monet, you would be a dangerous vandal, a kook, who should be prosecuted for theft and vandalism, evaluated for mental illness, and locked away for a good long time.
And most of us who went to look at the painting would be looking at what remained of the Monet, and simply horrified by the bloody torture scene some psychotic tried to paint over it.
What is neglected is the fact that the Church CHANGED the holiday as a way of converting the pagans to Christianity by means of relating to them in ways they could understand. Would you rather Italy and Ireland be loaded with hethenist pagans rather then those who practice the Ways of the Faith? The Resurrection is the most important event in the Life of Christ, without it, he's just another "messiah" and not THE Messiah. The Easter Festival was used to make the masses understand its importance.
Christ granted Authority to One Body, the Church, through His ordination of Peter (Matt 16:18,19). Christ PROMISED us that His Church would NEVER falter to the gates of hell; that regardless of the men in Her Clergy (who were falliable), that Her DOCTRINE was THE UNDENIABLE TRUTH, 100% immune to the influence of lucifer. This was to reassure His children that although Christ is gone, His presence would always be with us in the form of the Holy Spirit in His Church. A Body of unchallenged belief
To say that satan reached his influence into the Church and disguised pagan ritual into worshiping God is to REBUKE what Christ foretold. It would be SIGNIFICANTLY easier for satan to convince the whole world that Christ's established Church was false then for him to infultrate the Papalcy and establish doctrines of heresey. For such an act would mean Christ was wrong, which is IMPOSSIBLE. Paul himself writes (1 Tim 3:15) that the Church is the Pillar and Foundation of TRUTH. Is Paul incorrect?
Ok, which more applies to that scripture; Christs Church being infested by Satan (which contradicts matt 16:18,19) or the 33,000 sects of protestantism that arrived beginning 1500 years after Christs time (which have no biblical record of their establishments). Why would Christ bother establishing a Church and assuring us it could not be corrupted if he knew it would fail. If there is no central authority, then there is chaos. That is why Paul calls the Church the Pillar and Foundation of Truth
"Christ PROMISED us that His Church would NEVER falter to the gates of hell"
"His Church" just means his PEOPLE. And his PEOPLE won't falter to the gates of hell. But for Satan to take over, he needs to be INSIDE. The only way: Infiltration. You wouldn't follow him if he said, "I'm Satan! WORSHIP ME!".
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inwardly are ravening wolves. (Matt. 7:15)
His Church simply means his people? In the passage (Matt. 16:17-19), Christ is talking directly to Peter. It is only to Peter that Christ hands over the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. By establishing a Church, Christ gave us an unquestioned doctrinal authority that was guided and protected by the Holy Spirit. For Satan to prove Christ wrong by corrupting Her doctrine into a doctrine of heresy would be IMPOSSIBLE.
His only other option was to convince the world that he had corrupted the Church
The Pope has never claimed to be God on Earth. He is not some magical king who is free from sin or error. That is FAR from the truth. The Pope is a steward, not a king. His job is to preserve the tradition of faith that has been passed down to him by his predecessors (2Thes 2:15), which had been given directly to them by Christ (the King).
Peter, and his successors, held Unquestioned Doctrinal Authority on Truth because that area was protected from the will of the dark one by the Holy Spirit
"...whatever you bind in earth, shall be bound in Heaven. and whatever you loose on earth, shall be loosed in Heaven." (Mt 16:19, 18:18)
Jesus commissioned His Twelve to establish a Doctrine of Truth, which is His Church. Of them, he selected Peter as the servant of servants. It was exclusively to Peter that Christ handed over the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Paul had no qualms about the role of the Church, in 1Tim3:15, Paul directly calls Her "the pillar and foundation of Truth"
Uh, dude. Look in the Catechism. It says even in that, BY POPES, that he is God on Earth. Do some research.
"The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in Heaven and earth." Pope Pius V, quoted in Barclay, Chapter XXVII, p. 218, "Cities Petrus Bertanous". "The pope is of so great dignity and so exalted that he is not a mere man, but as it were God, and the vicar of God... "The Pope alone is called most holy..."
I own a Catechism, I have not found any references that states that the Pope is God. Only that the Pope is the Vicar (representative) of God.
I have seen those other quotes before. Yet I have never seen the document from which they came. I've tried searching, but to no avail. Since you have obviously seen and read this document, could you please send me a link that I may be able to see these quotations in their whole context? Because all I can ever find are these very quotes, but nothing else.
Please show me where in the Catechism that it clearly states that the Pope is God (Vicar of God does not mean God). The website you gave me are still a list of quotes out of context. Thje website also stated that Vicar of Christ meant Christs replacement. That is incorrect.
I asked you to show me a link where I could read the entire 27th chapter of Barclay's book where the previous quote was taken from. Either you have read this document, or you simply copy and pasted other people's statements.
Actually, that's NOT incorrect. Vicar means IN PLACE OF. Vicar Filli Dei. And I'm sorry I don't own that book. But it's a direct quote, you wouldn't need the whole chapter. Whether I copied and pasted has no reference to whether it's true or not. Vicar of God means IN PLACE OF God.
Read the site. So many quotes saying that the Pope is as equal as God himself. You're blindly turning away into the Wolves lair.
The word Vicar can mean either to represent or to replace. However, in the context of the title, it means to represent. Just like a lawyer would represent a defendant on trial. Or a steward would represent, but not replace, a king in his absence, for the throne does not belong to the steward, but to the king. In terms of the Pius quote, all I'm questioning is the credibility of your sources. I cannot find where that book exists. If it is quoted so frequently, it should be easy to find.
Why do you follow the Catechism? Why not the BIBLE. Read that, and God will surely lead you to the truth. Since you cannot or Do not want to understand what I'm saying. I'm merely trying to help you, that's all. Not disprove your teachings.
I, honestly, appreciate what you are doing. I do not question your love for God, nor your desire to evangelize the Truth. They are great gifts that you are sharing. It was the Bible that lead me to the Church. For Truth is not relative, only definite. Christianity is a theocracy, not a democracy. If the notion of sola-scriptura was true, then there would not be over 33,000 "bible-only" churches who have come to differing interpretations of Truth using the same book. I cant follow sola-scriptura
Palease, there is only one Father and he is still in Heaven, the pope is "just"a man who practice paganism in his "golden"palace [Vatican],plus he is a neo nazi come on r u really that blindfolded and the Most High's name is YAH,not god [that's a wrong title]even satan says he is a god, egypt had over 300 gods,so don't put the creator in such category HalleluYAH that's hebrew 4 praise u YAH .The bible was written in hebrew not english or latin
Yeshua, whatever. It's god and Jesus Christ to me. and What you just said, was the EXACT point I was making, if you cared to read the whole conversation. But no, you just assume you know what you're talking about and bash me.
wow @keehart u need alot of research. the pope is evil he using GOD to fool believers. PLEASE do not buy into that. the vatican belongs to illuminaty= the antichrist sect. if the pope was GOD then WHY? would he have bodyguards. N tell me why he blesses the weapons for war? the pope will burn in hell including obama, celebrities that sell their souls, all freemasons, these people r evil. WAKE UP
I would rather the world be loaded with people who celebrate the simple changes of the seasons with flowers and eggs and rabbits and chicks, and don't stick their dying man on a cross into the middle of it, with their perverted notion of original sin and blood sacrifice and torture and yuckiness and creepiness and their holy zombie--making a mockery of nature, then wondering why they are so oppressed and evil and violent?
It's really sad how ignorant Christians have become. They go around celebrating all of these pagan holidays thinking they're doing Christianity service. I'd have to say about 99% of Christians in the world are as ignorant as rats.
all easter means is the days will be longer than nights. goes back to ancient kemet. christians babalionians and every one else put a story to it. hook em horns
Give me a break... You think only Easter is false? The entire christian religion is a fraud or any other religion for that matter. It's all based on sun worship or Paganism. Jesus is only the newest fraud. Sorry to hurt your feelings but this is historical fact.
mikectw.... you have not hurt my feelings my friend, mainstream Christianity is basically baptised paganism. that is why i am not a mainstream Christian. but the Bible is historically sound and does reveal the true and living Creator
Thank you for posting this, its a shame that so many are turning away from christianity b/c they think its like any other pagan religion. It makes me sick. Great video, keep up the good work!
This has been flagged as spam show
Easter, Christmas & Halloween are all pagan and Christians should not celebrate them.

Ok the word "easter" is in acts 12:4, anyone know what the word is doing there, or what the origonal language pronounciation of that word is? I understand fully that eggs and bunnys have nothing to do with the deathe and ressurection of my saviour and count that all as paganism.. Oh I have that book, shall read it and see if he answers my question...GBU also
ASeedSower234 9 months ago
@ASeedSower234 -shall answer myself...Passover...now I wonder why the KJV says "Easter" is it because the festival called "Easter" was approximately at the same time as the Passover..or am I chasing the rabbit up the wrong tree?
ASeedSower234 9 months ago
@ASeedSower234 It is because Acts, chapter 12, tells us that it was the evil King Herod, who was planning to celebrate Easter, and not the Christians or disciples of Yahweh

EveryHumanBeing 1 year ago 5
@EveryHumanBeing "Empty your programmed mind" how can you be sure that your mind has not been programmed to reject the Scripture?
The ancients understood well how the "world worked"
The things you state are perpetuated by a belief in Scripture are the result of misunderstanding and the misapplication of Scripture.
lazbo4174 1 year ago 2

EveryHumanBeing 1 year ago
@Lazbo4174 - The bible didn't do anything for you.. your crutch, that is... a belief in an imaginary being helped you... Your imagination, a simulacrum. No more helpful than carrying around a lucky rabbits foot.
So yes , in the end it is a bad thing.... until you learn to help yourself.
But if your happy placing your mind in a non- reality than by all means... go with the placebo effect.
EveryHumanBeing 1 year ago
@EveryHumanBeing I appreciate your response but I have heard it all before. You criticise my experience and yet you have no idea what I have experienced, you compare a person's faith in God with "carrying around a lucky rabbits foot" and yet, judging by your comments, you have never experienced the results of a faithful relationship with God.
I have some questions...
what motivates you to post such comments? Are you looking for a debate/argument? Are you concerned for my well being?
lazbo4174 1 year ago
@lazbo4174 I'm not criticizing your experience, I'm generalizing it. You assume your subjective experience cannot be understood or explained by none other than yourself. As everyone does. - A belief in faith and a belief in luck are very similar. Is so and so just lucky or is God on his side? or Perhaps they Just excel that well naturally?-- A relationship infers two way communication, which is not the case with a God that provides NO evidence for it's existence let alone communication. So no.
EveryHumanBeing 1 year ago
@EveryHumanBeing You stated... "A relationship infers two way communication, which is not the case with a God that provides NO evidence for it's existence let alone communication" I speak to Him every day, He always answers and in many different ways, you are of course free to question this or explain it away. Maybe if you had seen what I've seen you'd think differently. There is ample evidence of His existence, the intricacy of creation declares His glory.

My people perish for a lack of knowledge. Did not the Jews get in troulbe for mixing pagan religion with what God told them, but somehow we now thing it is okay. We all beleive God does not change, Jesus the same today , yesterday and forever. So we must ask ourselves about these changes/adding to!

KeeHartProductions 1 year ago
We do not know the exact day of Yahushua Messiahs birth, however the Word makes it clear it occurred during the week of the Feast of Trumpets- befitting considering His second coming will be at the last Trumpet again. Anyone proclaiming to be a believer should know the Word. In Matthew, the time frame for His birth is shown in the birth of John the Baptist and his parents of whom his father was of the Levitical priesthood- KNOW the Jewish calendar, there is a lot of truth there!
RepairtheBreach 3 years ago

"Easter Sun-rise Services" that Christians do at Easter? Ezekiel 8:15-16- Then He said, Have you seen this, O son of man? You are to see still greater abominations than these. And He brought me into the inner court of the House of יהוה. And there, at the door of the Hĕḵal of יהוה, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the Hĕḵal of יהוה and their faces toward the east, and they were bowing themselves eastward to the sun.
RepairtheBreach 3 years ago

This is not to say these religions are false, just misinterpretted.

rasqueenrene 3 years ago
There is no such thing as a 'false god', as you are only meant to worship the Divine light that is within you. Christianity, Judaism, & Islam are 100% Paganistic in origin, which has been proven time and time again. This is not to say they are false, as all major religions are True, they (Abrahamic ones) are taken way too literally,to the point people use them to justify violence & war.

I have heard the response "But it's for the children..." and "We don't worship the [Christmas] tree" (see Jer 10)
Rev 2:14 lists "to eat things sacrificed to idols" right beside "to commit fornication" in his what he would hold against that Christian church.
Christian religion shouldn't be polluted with Pagan observances and symbolism.
Practicing Pagans [that I know] have no problem recognzing that these festivals are in fact, Pagan, in truth honoring [false] gods and goddesses.

Rning1611... thanks for your comment
does the 1611 in your username have anything to do with the KJV Bible?
lazbo4174 3 years ago
It does, actually.
Rning1611 3 years ago
i have looked into the origins of certain translations and also the background of certain translators such as Hort and Westcott those responsible for the NIV bible, a very poor version indeed.
i have a very interesting book entitled New Age Bible Versions written by Gail Riplinger
lazbo4174 3 years ago
Sam Gipp's "An Understandable History of the Bible" is a very good comphrehensive book on the Authorized Bible.
Also by Gail Riplinger, "The Language of the King James Bible" is also good.
There's quite a few more besides these. The sum of this, to me is:
1) God promised to preserve his word
2) God is capable of keeping his promise
3) Therefore, He has
4) It must be somewhere
5) Which source texts were pure?
6) Do we trust God?
I have yet to find any error in the AKJ [open mind].
Rning1611 3 years ago
The only problem i find with the AJK is the weakness of the English language when it is compared to the Greek and Hebrew, some of the meaning is slightly lost in translation. but i have found no error as yet myself.
do you know about Esword?
lazbo4174 3 years ago
I think the problem is not a weakness in the English language, but that we don't know enough about the English language.
Hebrew and Greek have limitations, too. If God can write in Greek, he can also write in English. The Holy Spirit has a record of breaking language barriers. The question becomes, "Did God inspire this?"
Re Esword, yes. Esword can show the source of the English words. I've learned a little Greek and Hebrew from the AKJ text this way. It has good search functions, also.
Rning1611 3 years ago
i see your point and have to agree...
"Did God inspire this?"

Jesus rising from the dead is just creepy. WHY would you people want to put a dead tortured man walking around in the middle of a celebration of spring?
Christianity has just about ruined Easter. Why?
totallybarefoot 3 years ago
As you know in reality Easter does not have anything to do with Christianity. It is a pagan festival that coincided with Messiah's death, burial and ressurection, it was introduced into the Catholic Church as well as others to appease half converted pagans
lazbo4174 3 years ago
No, the celebration of easter has EVERYTHING to do with Christianity. Its the celebration of Christs Resurection, which wrote in stone that HE was THE MESSIAH. The early Church *CHANGED* the festival to one that celebrates the Resurection and not pagan deities.
If I took a Monet paiting from a museum, whitewashed it with bleach, painted a new image on it, and then put it back where it was, is it still that Monet? Sure it may have been the before, but now theres something completely different.
mitchkramah 3 years ago
so whats with the paschal eggs and the bunnies?
lazbo4174 3 years ago
They are not teachings of the Church, much like luck and leprachauns are not a part of the feast of St. Patrick. They are old customs from the pagan past that survived through the culture of society. At the Easter Mass, I have never seen bunnies or eggs in the Church, nor ever heard a mention of them as a part of the holiday. Dont confuse teachings of the Church with customs of society. They are two completely different things.

Jeremiah 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
lazbo4174 3 years ago
it is true that god said, "learn not the way of the heathen." this raises the question: what about people who do things that are similar to what some heathens did, even though the people don't know about the heathen origins?? would such people be guilty of learning the way of the heathen even though they don't know about the heathen?
titusville7 3 years ago
Acts 17:30
lazbo4174 3 years ago
that verse deals with people who practice evil. i'm not so sure that people commit evil when they unknowingly engage in practices
that resemble something done by pagans. if a person puts up a statue of the easter bunny without knowing of its pagan origins, i don't see how he is any more condemnable than the person who puts up a statue of batman. actually, this raises a question. here is the question: do you have problems with people who have statues of batman?????
coventrygardens 3 years ago
the Bible is clear in the second Commandment, it states that we are not to WORSHIP statues/idols.

I have seen both eggs and bunnies in church at Easter in Romania. In the very othodox church. Peace.
ajaxfilms 3 years ago

I believe the Pope will become the AntiChrist.

Acts 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
lazbo4174 3 years ago
Ok, which more applies to that scripture; Christs Church being infested by Satan (which contradicts matt 16:18,19) or the 33,000 sects of protestantism that arrived beginning 1500 years after Christs time (which have no biblical record of their establishments). Why would Christ bother establishing a Church and assuring us it could not be corrupted if he knew it would fail. If there is no central authority, then there is chaos. That is why Paul calls the Church the Pillar and Foundation of Truth

Did the Most High establish Israel? did Israel apostatise? did He reject Israel?
why did He bother establishing Israel?
lazbo4174 3 years ago
"Christ PROMISED us that His Church would NEVER falter to the gates of hell"
"His Church" just means his PEOPLE. And his PEOPLE won't falter to the gates of hell. But for Satan to take over, he needs to be INSIDE. The only way: Infiltration. You wouldn't follow him if he said, "I'm Satan! WORSHIP ME!".
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inwardly are ravening wolves. (Matt. 7:15)
KeeHartProductions 1 year ago
His Church simply means his people? In the passage (Matt. 16:17-19), Christ is talking directly to Peter. It is only to Peter that Christ hands over the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. By establishing a Church, Christ gave us an unquestioned doctrinal authority that was guided and protected by the Holy Spirit. For Satan to prove Christ wrong by corrupting Her doctrine into a doctrine of heresy would be IMPOSSIBLE.
His only other option was to convince the world that he had corrupted the Church

So what give's the Pope the right to say that he is God on earth? Explain that to me? If that's not Blasphemy, I don't know what is.
KeeHartProductions 1 year ago

You can't argue with that.
KeeHartProductions 1 year ago
I own a Catechism, I have not found any references that states that the Pope is God. Only that the Pope is the Vicar (representative) of God.
I have seen those other quotes before. Yet I have never seen the document from which they came. I've tried searching, but to no avail. Since you have obviously seen and read this document, could you please send me a link that I may be able to see these quotations in their whole context? Because all I can ever find are these very quotes, but nothing else.
mitchkramah 1 year ago
I'd be happy to prived you with a link. But "The Pope and God are the same." That's straight out of THEIR own stuff.
KeeHartProductions 1 year ago
Please show me where in the Catechism that it clearly states that the Pope is God (Vicar of God does not mean God). The website you gave me are still a list of quotes out of context. Thje website also stated that Vicar of Christ meant Christs replacement. That is incorrect.
I asked you to show me a link where I could read the entire 27th chapter of Barclay's book where the previous quote was taken from. Either you have read this document, or you simply copy and pasted other people's statements.
mitchkramah 1 year ago
Actually, that's NOT incorrect. Vicar means IN PLACE OF. Vicar Filli Dei. And I'm sorry I don't own that book. But it's a direct quote, you wouldn't need the whole chapter. Whether I copied and pasted has no reference to whether it's true or not. Vicar of God means IN PLACE OF God.
Read the site. So many quotes saying that the Pope is as equal as God himself. You're blindly turning away into the Wolves lair.
KeeHartProductions 1 year ago
The word Vicar can mean either to represent or to replace. However, in the context of the title, it means to represent. Just like a lawyer would represent a defendant on trial. Or a steward would represent, but not replace, a king in his absence, for the throne does not belong to the steward, but to the king. In terms of the Pius quote, all I'm questioning is the credibility of your sources. I cannot find where that book exists. If it is quoted so frequently, it should be easy to find.
mitchkramah 1 year ago
Why do you follow the Catechism? Why not the BIBLE. Read that, and God will surely lead you to the truth. Since you cannot or Do not want to understand what I'm saying. I'm merely trying to help you, that's all. Not disprove your teachings.
KeeHartProductions 1 year ago

I would rather the world be loaded with people who celebrate the simple changes of the seasons with flowers and eggs and rabbits and chicks, and don't stick their dying man on a cross into the middle of it, with their perverted notion of original sin and blood sacrifice and torture and yuckiness and creepiness and their holy zombie--making a mockery of nature, then wondering why they are so oppressed and evil and violent?
totallybarefoot 3 years ago
totallybarefoot... those who are truly Christian are not evil nor violent, they do acknowledge the changing of the seasons as does Scripture.
the violence surrounding Christ's death was ue to the debased nature of those around Him, those who did not know the meaning of true religion.
original sin is a false doctrine and does not belong to the Bible
and zombies belong to Hollywood

It's really sad how ignorant Christians have become. They go around celebrating all of these pagan holidays thinking they're doing Christianity service. I'd have to say about 99% of Christians in the world are as ignorant as rats.

Give me a break... You think only Easter is false? The entire christian religion is a fraud or any other religion for that matter. It's all based on sun worship or Paganism. Jesus is only the newest fraud. Sorry to hurt your feelings but this is historical fact.

mikectw.... you have not hurt my feelings my friend, mainstream Christianity is basically baptised paganism. that is why i am not a mainstream Christian. but the Bible is historically sound and does reveal the true and living Creator

there are two with you right now. :)
