Nic Cage's financial problems w the IRS is not his own doing. It was his former manager's fault. Nic isn't running away from it. He faced it dead on and is paying up. I respect the man. You should too.
Oh and yes, he IS the GREATEST ACTOR alive. I love him to bits!

Nic Cage is one of my fav acters. Funny thing is I have very rarely scene any interviews or anything off screen from him. He must be a bit private. Smart guy!! One of my fav movies among many is Vampires kiss. Knowing is really good, the ending was amazing!!
knowing was cool. its just not my type of movie. Apocalypse or whatever. i liked the Resident Evil movies though. those were apocalyspe. hence the name Resident Evil APOCAPLYSE. but Knowing was ok.some of my friends were like "its kinda creepy. makes u feel weird" and i was like "what the fuck? ur joking right?" i dont know. im just NEVER scarred in a movie. i have never ever in my whole life watched a movie that scarred me at ALL. thats why i hate horrors. they are boring and always the same.
i didnt like it. it didnt "freak" me out at all. it was a good performance. but i didnt like the movie. the best "apocalyspe" movie was Resident Evil.
why'd the movie suck blinkfan87? you know i see these type of comments all the time on perfectly good movies and they're all the same in the way that no one ever explains why they thought it sucked. i'm a film student and thought knowing was a fantastic movie. i just thought you should know that if you ever want any credibility in reviewing movies you need to have thorough explanations for why you do or don't like something.
for me, i liked it because of the great cinematography and storyline. i thought the story was compelling and engaging in a manner that a lot of people can relate to. I thought the acting was perfect for it. There was nothing over the top, but there was great emotional scenes where there needed to be (Nicholas Cage has always been good at placing emotion in only the right spots) And the cinematography, to me, was very good at placing you in the movie and making it feel very real to the audience.
i just thought that the ending was a bit confusing with the kids going to that planet and stuff was kinda strange. also I really dont enjoy films where all the characters that i like die.
well see, to me, i like that kinda stuff because it leaves the ending up to you to kind of piece things together. it allows you to think for yourself and breaks away from the traditional american resolved happy ending. but to each his own.
jesus he talks about every single movie he has ever done but knowing

Young Nicholas Copola was in my Grandmother's French class in Beverly Hills. Can I meet Mr. Cage based on this connection?

Nicolas Cage is one of the greatest actors of all time. A complete actor. Man could play any part, good guy, bad guy, funny guy, any part.
It's kind of sad that he is in a financial mess now. I hope that his problems get sorted out and he is back on track.
