ZZ, we "Jesus Freaks" understand why some people do what they do. Kip was hurting emotionally for a long time and we not only prayed for those who were shot and their families, but for Kip as well. People kept telling Kip he was mentally disturbed long before these shootings happened. That is no way to treat someone. We can understand why Kip killed his parents despite how much he loved them. We're not saying he was evil for doing so. We're saying that we care about him enough to pray for him.

Kip's father said there were no guns at home when he knew damn well there were but Warthen released him to his father because Bill Kinkel valued member of the community. Under Oregon law Kip should have been held at Skipworth for 72 hours and checked out by a psychiatrist. There are many people who bear responsibility 4 this tragic event. Kip at least had the excuse of severe mental illness while the rest didn't. 30.7.08

I was about 7 when this incident happened. 1 of the victims was a babysitter of mine who also came to live with us. she was shot in the left hip and her name was sara branom.

i guess it's alot harder now to look back on everything since i am older, but i think there is a need for something to be done in high schools. not too long ago we had a few students in my school come in and they sold knives to other students and it was never known to the teachers. it's scary to think wat could have been.
