@python3124 I wish I could visit there more often. There is a new show on discovery channel called "Operation Wild" that follows the FWC in their work around the Everglades. Has some good footage of the area and the problems its facing.
@thejourneyoutdoors problems? are you talking about the problems with the building of tourism parks becuse i havent seen any real problems? i havent been down there in about 3 months though,
@python3124 No. The problems they video on the show are poachers, airboat drivers destroying marsh and things like that but other problems the everglades face is the phosphorus run off from farms creating overgrowth of non desirable plant life that is crowding out plant life that native species depend on. Also the increase human water consumption from population growth is taking away from the fresh water that flows from lake Okeechobee to the everglades, in turn salt water is seeping in.
