I like the way he were continuing composing music even if he's about to die as being haunted by the ghost of his father to without knowing he's writting a song for his own grave.. That's a pretty negative story and somehow this made good music because he was himself and without ANY compromise between him and his music. music doesnt have be technically impossible to play, in order for it to be good.. yes simple riff here.. but it creates a far superior atmosphere than some bands whose songs are just one long guitar solo.. more feeling, more heart..

drudkh is ok, but i agree with sythaz. hate forest is a purely straight forward attack of buzzing guitars, pounding drums, and damning vocals. there are plenty of black metal bands who use the same formula but none come close to that energy that hate forest has.
