  • "DiscomBOOBulated.." 5:10

  • Why are people making fun of his accent?

  • woah i didn't know gaddafi played guitar

  • you can tell hes full of wisdom. hes a smart dude.

  • God was he ever "in time & in tune" - amazing musician.

  • dis-come- boob-il-ated

  • I wonder how many who make fun of Carlos's English can speak perfect Spanish ?

  • @eaglerock999 they are simply admiring the accent. not making fun, some probably are but im not . I dig his accent :D

  • I Thought he had taken mescaline not lsd.

  • I'm 231

  • "festible"...lol

  • Most comments are related with the way he pronunce words...but we are agree that he speaks very clearly with his guitar.........

  • i wonder if his performance would have been as good , had he not taken mescaline.

  • @jer19541 does it matter - what is done is done! all genius is flawed - therein is the beauty.

Have a look at the "chaos theory of the universe, Quantum Physics, plse do1!

  • @jer19541 i guess you'll just have to keep wondering...

  • 5:10 hehehe, discomboobalated....

  • Inspiring man GOD bless him and his family

  • Dont go to stage on LSD! hahaha this guy is awesome

  • @mickruiz mescaline

  • Festiballs... lol.

Viva Santana from Autlan Jalisco, Mexico.

  • Woodstock. The festibal of festibals.

  • I wish they can do Woodstock all over again

  • @JoelNavaOfficial na they'd put gaga and bieber shit on it, ruin it

  • "Festibal" hahaha

  • wha tha hell is santana haha

  • I feel like i was born in the wrong era

  • Honestly, Santana Day should be a nationwide holliday, this guy's done so much to help the world, and as part of WoodStock, he's part of American history! He helped shape the people of his time, as well as the musicians around him. What more could we ask for?

  • the hole damn world is worng

  • FROM BRASIL I SAY: VIVA MEXICO, VIVA SANTANA !

  • ¡¡¡¡VIVA MEXICO!!!!!

  • ¡¡¡¡¡Me siento tan orgulloso de ser Mexicano cuando pienso de santana o de otros Mexicanos internacionales!!!!!

  • i love carlos. but festiBal

  • He's Mexican, alright. But his music is a fusion of blues/rock with Afro-Cuban & Puerto Rican inspired Latin jazz. There is no Mariachi or Tejano influence in Santana, whatsoever. His style is the least Mexican of Mexican musicians.

  • best interview ever haha

  • He was born in Mexico, thats why he haves a accent.

  • Caelos Santana is the best

  • I love Carlos, but did say festibal......with a B??

  • @Bosdriver0435 Some spanish speaking people when they have an accent pronounce a "V" like a "B"

  • @Lyingassholes Thank's....I showed this vid to my sister in-law who is Puerto Rican and she told me the same thing......then she slapped me in the head and called me a dumb gringo.......LOL

  • @Bosdriver0435 hahahahahaha thats fuckin hilarious

  • i like his hats. saw him live. it was brilliant. his tone is amazing. you can't buy an amp like his unless you're a guitar God. The guy custom makes them and only sells them to the greats.

  • discombubulated. baha Santana is awesome

  • I heard that Led Zep was suppose to perform in Woodstock, it's a shame that they decline, or else it's gonna be a havoc, chaos and riot if they do. :) I miss 'em both. :(

  • @Khazanah They were invited, but their manager Peter Grant didn't want them to appear because he didn't think it was anything special. Ironically, they played a show not too far away in New Jersey. Doubly ironic is that Robert Plant used excerpts from the soundtrack on his song "Tie Dye on the Highway".

  • @Sargebri Ask "them" again after they released the forth album. ;)

You know, their album would be big early if they perform on Woodstock! now who's with me? :p

  • "Festibal". Lol. Santana is the fucking man, amazing player.

  • God, I promise I won't do LSD again lmao

  • festibal haha

  • poop?

  • "all I could see was an ocean of flesh and hair and teeth"

    bullshit.

all he could see was butterflies and rainbows and colors"

  • @valax300 dam that shit made me laugh my ass offf

  • Its a festival not a festibal!!!lol no Carlos is awesome.

  • this dude seems super real .

  • "festibles"

  • "When we got to woodstock, wee weren't afraid."

Yeah because you were tripping balls on Lsd.

  • @psychoracer200 no shit sherlock..

  • @vakeromty Oh, you're cool.

  • Did they really have to say "Santana - Guitarist" on the documentary? There are people who don't know?? ;-)

  • All this time I've read it was shrooms.

  • @skumzzz Haha he says it funny but hes still awesome.

  • Santana #1!!!

  • sweet

  • wow awesome, I didn't know he was on acid when he played that HAHA.

  • santana is the man

  • Carlos is one talented, awesome dude...one can never get enough of his music!

  • I have heard him talk about taking mescaline before the performance at woodstock. Just like many of these people that played woodstock maybe there was a little to much poppin going on!!

  • half a million people at least......wow

  • to be alive in the 60's, to hear santana live, to be there, live that. i'd kill to experience it.

  • Actually they move to Tijuana first, he sell things on the streets.

  • i love him...he is a true genius and wonderful human being. I wish he lives forever. he is a saint

  • I knew that was why he was making such silly faces!

  • I'm white as a sheet Dutch and i can understand ElwoodSurfsNY..

    Be proud, do your thing.

  • Another great Mexican born musician at Woodstock was Aldolfo "Fito" de la Parra-the drummer for the blues/rock band Canned Heat. They played very well too.

  • makes me proud to be a latino

  • LSD!

  • discomboobalated hahaha

  • u forgot jim morrison : (

  • I saw this yesterday I was a apolled at what he said. Anyway thats what people did at Woodstock . The Drugs finally got to Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin later in life. Both of the these people where great to follow in life and also left a mark on history as performers.

  • how informitive it is pretty interesting

  • yeah santana for president!!! hahaha

  • santana for president!!!

  • i wounder did he ever do acid after woodskock???

  • Although I can understand what Carlos is saying in recommending that musicians do not take LSD before attempting to exhibit their music, the performance at woodstock wouldn't have been the same without that influence! From my own experiences with LSD, I can say that music takes over your other senses and assumes a "physical" form, as if you could see the notes just as clearly as you hear them. It's a testament to santana's musicianship that he was able to play despite the acid!

  • @methanandamide

like u said "he was able to play despite the acid" Santana is a truely remarkable musician & hes my idol also...being on LSD had nothing to do with how he performed..i have never done LSD in my life & i dont need to in order to feel the music in a physical form, how you feel the music on depends on who you are as a person not what substance you let control you..its called a natural high & i can get it w/o any "help"..music is the most powerful drug u can ever have in ur system

  • santana is from jalisco, trust me i saw him there a few years back and people were asking him how he felt to be back home

  • wow, great anti-drug promo

  • WOW i went to the town were he was born and in the center of the plasa there is a statue of carlos santana

  • this is one interview i'd like to see totally uncut.

    thanks for posting! it's awesome....

  • really cool how he hands it to Bill Graham....ya gotta.....

  • I think that Carlos said that "Santana", the band not the person, born in SF. Carlos never denied his mexican heritage. It's impossible when we heard his music. and he konows that. Were not a "babaca". I'm brazilian. Sorry my terrible english.

  • m;mmm;m;;mm;m;n;;m;m;m,;

  • Coolest Mexican ever!

  • @shockme25159 coolest next to Danny Trejo,Sick Jacken, Vicente Fernandez,Big Duke, Pancho Villa, Emilliano Zapata, Coutemoc (both), Californian Mexicans,Jorge Negrete, The guy from the wolf man. all the Mexican Boxers I think Mexicans are some of the most under rated people.

  • when Carlos tells a story he has my undivided attention, this man is unique as a legend and icon with his amazing talents..

  • I wonder if he took it again.

  • YES the snake ............ dont do drugs people its horrible

  • Woodstock. man i wish i was there, i missed out on so much. why couldnt i go back in time...

  • Agreed! Thing is though, even if we could go back in time, we'd still have to then go through all the dull crap that happened in the 80's, 90's and back to now... It would be cool if the whole world embodied the spirit of Woodstock permanently.

Well, thats my opinion at least :P

  • not if we had a time machine where we could go back and come back in time.

  • Oh. Yeah, that would kick ass! lol
