u needed to get the weight moving forward before you casted the rod, surf rods put too much torque on the lure

lmfao, once i tried to do that and the reel got suck on something so the line couldnt come out and my line snapped and the weight just went straight up in the air and came down behind me. i didnt lose the weight but it was lead and the bottom half is bent
