I have TMC-6 Roland Module that has limited number of trigger inputs! So how did you do to trig/switch different drumkit during playing?? Can I trigg different drum part (instrument) inside Redrum drumkit????
Nice vid. I have the TD-3 and use Reason but can't get the original TD-3 sounds at all. Any ideas? I can use the drums to trigger the Redrum sounds for example but that means no cymbal muting or hi-hat pedal usage!! Any ideas?
Hey man, I just bought a MIDI to USB cable. When connected to reason it seems to have like a 1 second lag and Redrum doesn't seem to set all channels correctly so I have to manually set. Is there a way of setting it up so that it doesn't lag? Cheers mate, nice work
so you`r just usin reasson and thats all:O? not any other software? just reason and your midi interfaz with your module? no ezdrummer or other? thanks :)!! gorgeous loops
Very cool, great job. I'd like to learn how to do what you're doing. I plan on getting a Mac and maybe Logic Pro 8, hopefully I can figure it out hehe. Blessings.........
nope original sounds from the tD-6. The other sounds you hear are loops hat i made with reason. i've made rex files from those loops so i could triger them from the td-6 thats all
i wanna get an electric kit so bad.... ive been looking at the new hd1 its small and easy to put away coz i already heave an accoustic set in my room.... i want to do exactly this! hook it up via midi and use the drums in logic or somthing so it soudns real. any recomendations?? =) nice video by the way
pretty cool man. I just bought these drums and been using strictly audio with all my gear. I even have reason 3 but haven't booted it up for a year. Looks like i'll be midi'ing up now. Chain the X6, the Td-6, the PSR and teh PC. GOod job again.
You can also use samples from Drumkit from hell, and make your Td8 sound like a real drumkit... if you know reason really good its no problem, otherwise it's easier to use Cubase. drumkit from hell has cubase presets...
I didn't hook it up to the redrum.. i hooked it up to a few diferent REX players. which simply starts playing when i hit the drumpad that i used for it..
Wow!! Nice playing dude!!

Well maybe your soundcard isn't good enough for low latency. I use an Audigy 2 with KX project drivers.
I never used the redrum with my td-6 so i don't know what channels it uses. I allways use Combinator or NNXT drumkits.
RonnyVee 3 years ago
Ahh ok. KX project drivers? Is this updating the USB drum drivers? How do you set each pad to the keys in NNXT? Cheers mate :)

I didn't think the td-6 and rim triggers worked. I thought that was a td-9 and up thing

If you're interested, I have this same electric drum kit for sale. I'd be willing to let it go for 900-1000 usd. I live in Ontario, Canada.
Email me if interested.

Hi,
I'm interested on buying your drum kit. Is it the roland td-6kw? How many years did you play with it?
