a support gun like the gpmg isnt meant to fire accurately in nice tight groupings anyway...its about spraying away at a distance in a fire support capacity to keep their heads down while your guys move. also despite the movies its not designed to be shoulder fired, in sustained fire mode. its not remotely like the Minimi/ M249 series.

@Schultz98 Who said the internals were crap? The people I spoke to said they'd spent 2 grand or so on top of the original prices of their guns and had consistently run into problems. That to me signifies a fussy design. And it can't be a perfect replica; it's an airsoft gun so it can only be close at best. If I had $2000 to spend and just wanted a replica, I would buy a real deactivated FN MAG. I'm pleased you enjoy your Inokatsu, but the prices they demand are completely unjustifiable.

@Loftworthy Im not saying everyone can/should buy this. but if you want a perfect replica or you want a wall hanger(as REAL m240's cost MUCH more than this one and are probably legally very hard to get even if its only for an airsoft gun. If you can't/won't pay this much for it go get the echo 1, it is not nearly as nice externally but costs like 1/3rd as much and comes with a gearbox.

wow this is the same weight as a mini gun, or more! well the m240b compared to the m134 is the same in real life except one has 1 barrel and is very in accurate and the other spins with 6 barrels and is surprisingly accurate. well pretty much, how can i mount a m134 on something like a bipod? hmmmm, im just dying to mount it some where and shoot it acurately like people do in planes

And the Airsoft M134 weights 40 pounds all the time...

I would agree getting your hands dirty is much more fun....but unless you in the military that would be murder and I think shooting my friends would not be the best idea. So until I go to boot camp, I think airsoft is fine for me and my friends to not...you know....kill each other.

I shoot real steel all the time but airsoft is the only way I can shoot at real targets and not be arrested. Besides its like paintball, for fun and maybe a bit of training...nothing else.

I totally acknowledge the fact that a lot of older people get into airsoft. A lot of them are at an advantage, too, because they can generally put a bit more funds into their equipment. I should say, I suppose, that people that I Airsoft with around my area (40-60 people) are 16-20.
