This is how its done.. They are wearing custom made shoes that hold your ankle in place WHILE the sneaker is locked onto the ground by a nail. How is the sneaker locked in the ground by a nail? On the bottom of the sneaker is a V shaped opening where the top of the nail gets hooked so the sneaker stays in place. Want proof? Start from 0:05 and watch the dancer all the way on the RIGHT side, His RIGHT foot gets caught on the top of the nail because he didn't pull his foot back enough. Thank you

They used rods from the floor. There is a video about it somewhere. They are patented shoes with a special slot on the bottom. Then rods come out of the floor and they slide there shoes to them.
