@abc114able They both have gas masks and wear great coats (alot of guard regiments have great coats. Voystroyans, valhallans, and Praetorians to name a few). The similarities end there.

I'm pretty sure other guard regiments wear gas masks and great coats too, it just isn't standard issue. If you send cadians to a toxic snow world, chances are they'll show up in gas masks and cloaks.

@wicNKWD37 Okay mister i-am-a-stupid-troll, No shit they are based on them but more on the Germans of WW1 and beleive it or not, the German uniform didn't change much after 1918, just in style like the Nazi's wore the Nazi Arm band, unlike the Wehrmacht who were just an Army. Also "SS" stands for "protective squad"(in english traslation) which the IG basically are and the IG fight for the emperor like the SS fought for Hitler, and Hitler only so i compared the SS with the Death Korpse faggot.

Oh and i own an actuall WW1 German uniform (accept the boots and it's missing patches) but i have the helmet and all, even a british gase mask and i can say if you put the british gas mask withe the uniform it looks exactly like these miniatures you fucking cum bag.
