How about addressing the research that areas with a Walmart have higher incomes and better economic conditions than areas without a Walmart? How about a video explaining that Walmart counteracts inflation? Or that people on marginal incomes aren't able to survive shopping elsewhere? I've worked at other companies that I've pulled 80 hour weeks, with work requiring education and technical knowledge and then LIE to me about giving me a raise. It's not just big corporations that screw people over, every employer does. Every single one. ESPECIALLY private companies. Hell my last employer tried to deny me pay for a 35 hour work WEEKEND...

@secksivn i'm an employee myself, and the tasks I do are menial, repetitive and mind boggling easy. It's definitely worth 10 bucks an hour. I've worked at other companies that I've pulled 80 hour weeks, with work requiring education and technical knowledge and then LIE to me about giving me a raise. It's not just big corporations that screw people over, every employer does. Every single one. ESPECIALLY private companies. Hell my last employer tried to deny me pay for a 35 hour work WEEKEND...

Well, I would like to point something out here, any retail/business is only as good as the customers allow it to be. You call walmart a monopoly, and that is a gross overstatement. You can buy anything that you buy from walmart from another place pretty much. You say it is all china made? well, mostly all of walmarts items are things that other stores carry, yet I do not see you ragging on them. so why is it that everyone hates walmart? With Fame, comes hate, the average hate those above.

Wal-Mart is a good thing. A shining testimony to human acheivement not unlike Rome was. Sure there is some destruction of smaller businessus but look at the benefits. Wal-Mart has managed to get cheap perscription drugs to Americans, Wal-Mart beat FEMA into New Orleans after Katrina by 2 weeks, and Wal-Mart's one stop shopping protects the environment by reducing the number of car trips to get necessaries. Auto repair shops, etc. They really don't give a shit about their customers either. The one in my town, Bryant, Ar. sends all but one of their checkers home at 10 pm, not caring that the store is still full of customers. Most of the products they sell are cheap Chinese crap, forget about buying American. They pay nothing to their employees and extend no benefits.

It's really expensive and unless you are making a lot more than I do, it's not an option. There are reasons to hate the company based on the corporate policies.
