The fact that America was founded by Christians is irrelevant when you consider that your ancestors who first walked this planet were either devoid of any rigid religious system, animists, or pagan. If I recall, we had a TERRIFIC economic boom all throughout the 1990s, and cap-and-trade did LITTLE to stifle that. In fact, cap-and-trade actually did much better than a lot of folks predicted, and it was much more cost-effective. Why should it be much diff. for CO2 emissions? I mean, SURELY a co. that pollutes a lot like Koch Industries (given the nature of the activities it does and things it sells), can afford to cut pollution. The company makes BILLIONS a year in profits!

I go to a Catholic high school and a lot of Catholics I ask don't really practice their religion or actively seek spiritual growth. In fact, hardly any of them give a fuck. Those that explored their faith have either become atheists or devout, seeking Christians.

NASA can only provide a weak theory to substantiate any assumption that the earth's warming is a direct result of naturally occurring CO2. If they absolutely rule-out the reality that natural cycles and the Sun at least contribute slightly, anything they say must be thrown out as questionable and deceptive.

My point was the correct term for Gore's party is Democratic Party, not Democrat Party. It just makes us look uneducated when we call it 'Democrat Party.' Reread what I wrote please, I did not say Democrats are called Democratics, I said their political party is called DemocratIC Party. All parties are (ADJECTIVE) Party. Democratic is the adjective to describe the party, Democrat is a noun to refer to members of the party. Republican is both an adjective and noun so the party is called Republican Party, and its members are called Republicans.
