  • lol cloning back in those times too? ~

    Sounds really pristine :D

  • Guys, I'm not sure if you are kidding or not about the double violin thing but if your happen to not be, let me enlighten you. He recorded himself playing the first part and then played the second part over it.

  • I want an orabrush now....

  • How the hell can you play both parts at the same time? o.0

  • Whoa man, I knew some of those classic music guys had mad skills, but this motherfucker actually played two violins at a time?

    Daay-amn!!

  • :) i have this on long play ... !!! with both heifetz on the cover ^^

  • Can you please give a source for this recording?

Any information about the record label and year of this recording would be greatly appreciated.

  • @Jazzanswer Recorded by RCA Victor in 1946.

  • why so fast mr heifetz?

  • living time of Heifetz is a little faster than usual persons because he is a gifted.

the world that he was looking at is totally different from us.

  • @tanakarf

If you think THIS is fast, listen to Hilary Hahn's version!!!

  • This man's playing is wonderful but sometimes the whole conception (I mean, playing both parts?) was quite absurd...in a very good way!

  • Absolutely perfect for those that cannot get enough of Heifetz.. He sort of clones himself in this strange- however great sounding effort.

Is it bravo to cloning,or simply Bravo -period.
