Plus VW also owns other brands like Audi. Bughatti, Bentley, Lamborghini...

@Rlnthndr I don't really know about Jettas it's a car for the poor* American and Chinese car market in Europe hardly any Jettas are sold at all, I live in Germany since 2006 and I've never seen a Jetta on the road before (at least not that I can remeber). I'm more a BMW kinda guy but VW builds good solid cars.

*With poor I just meant that Americans don't spend as much money on cars like central European people do, that's why car manufacres concentrate on the cheapest models for the US.

@Rlnthndr It's interesting to see peoples comments on Youtube and the different perception of the brand, while VW sells a lot of premium cars in Europe, is the 3rd largest car manufacturer in the world being market leader in Germany, Switzerland and many other countries, in the US only the cheapest models with the cheapest configurations are sold (US jetta:~16'000$ EU Jetta 20'900€ ~30'000$)(US Passat 20.000$ EU Passat 24,400€ ~35'000$) (base prices) .
