  • Her kicks are weak because she is so flexible because she is so flexible she is able to cheat on her kicks on her round house she needs to pivot her standing foot open up her hips and drive her knee past her target before she tries to kick through it becuase she is so gifted in the flexibility area she has to force her self not to be lazy on her technique or she wont ever get enough power to do anything. ~I fear not the one who does 10,000 kicks once but who does on kick 10,000 times" Bruce Lee.

  • Roundhouse, back kick, axe kick, and that split kick thing, right? I agree though, especially with the roundhouse kicks, about her needing to turn over the hip more. I have the same problem and I think a lot of people do.

  • ok I see what you mean now by the four kicks i thought that you ment four kicks period and stoped you ment four types of kicks yeah its very common to get lazy on your roundhouses expecially among upper rank students

  • Flexibility mean less energy devoted to raising the kicking leg and more devoted to the actual strike. Or did I misunderstand your statement?

  • True Flexibility means less energy exerted raising the kicking leg because there is less resistance but because she is so flexible she can (her kicking leg) get her foot turned over where it needs to be for proper contact with the target but she doesn't pivot her standing leg over, the foot she is standing on should pivot 180 degrees as she makes contact with her round house she is very talented I was just saying that with proper application of her kick she would do much better.

  • if you're inflexible your leg will be slower.. more rigid and you cant perform the technique as well as you could. it affects the 4 main components of a strike speed power technique and accuracy.

    personally her kicks aren't great.. she needs work,, if these kicks are trying to demonstrate tae kwon do..

  • I used to have good form and flexibility, but that was many moons ago...at this time I couldn't kick the bucket without a warmup...

  • sshsy, what she did is very hard, not as easy as it looks, so by the looks of it, she has some training, and a lot of it.
