Oil. In actuality, what I think you purchased is machine oil. Shock oil is sold in larger quantities, and does not have the needle applicator.

at my last competition, helpcube brought some shock oil and we mixed it with the maru lube. We started calling it "God in a bottle." That's how good it is.

I wonder what throwing a cube at a wall should do to a cube to make it actually better... I mean, I've never tried it since mine 2x2 was quite perfect out of the box (there is not even a review of that brnad here on youtube) but I just cannot see what hitting a wall should do.

But I am open for any explanations.
