  • I have got to the point in my life where I can tolerate a lot of antidiabetic medications. What I do with the (a couple of tablespoons) of cinnamon is to mix It with some Vanilla Yogurt or Vanilla Ice Cream. Once in awhile when the Cinnamon really gets to me I have to mix in a lot of Wheat Germ with everything. I will also use a lot of Cinnamon in my Coffee. I am thinking that the Cinnamon pills would cost me a lot of money for the same amount of benefit.

  • Why dont you take cinnamon tablets. It is hard to consume cinnamon because of its taste, I thought thats why the cinnamon pills were made. Does it work the same?

  • Tbh I think the cinnamon he's got will be less effective because it's not fresh if it's fresh it will help you more

  • Wow! You're doing well. A 4.5 A1C would have to be an average blood glucose value below 97, off of the scale that Wikipedia refers to. I did a study once on my average blood sugar test results and I have noticed that I have always had an average at about 110-115, before I started to have Prediabetes and then some Type II diabetes. I don't know If I could ever reach a 4.5 A1C.

  • @PCREVIEWHQ my liver enzymes are elevated and have been for some time and my doctor has done NOTHING..Any ideas why this happen?

  • Glad that cinnamon is helping. REad about different types of cinn,visit health store. Try it in plain applesauce. Also on Youtube, check out Diabetes 30 day cure and Death to Diabetes for more healthy ideas.Eat veggies, stevia. Besides exercising, don't eat: flour, processed foods, trans fats, fried foods, potatoes, breakfast cereal, soda pop, diet pop, fruitie juices, fructose corn syrup, & sugar. Reduce bananas. My Last A1C was 4.5, retest soon. God bless.

  • @nes11727 ...blood sugar low....cinnamon works within two hours to lower the blood sugar level...I also stay away from white bread,and table sugar...but if I cheat I consume the cinnamon....some days are harder than others,thats when I consume the most cinnamom....sometimes I take a little everyday, until i start eating sugarfree low carb again......

  • Yes, I counted about 34 grams in the Fat free Yogurt that I have been eating. I think that the Cinnamon could be tuned down. I go to an Indian market and I buy Cinnamon there sometimes, so far I have not checked to see what kinds of Cinnamon that they have to sell. Indian markets are inexpensive, just like some of the "international or Asiain" markets. I wonder how well the "unprocessed" Cinnamon sticks will work in the fight against Diabetes.

  • Switch to Ceylon Cinnamon it is available on Amazon and is not toxic. And try vanilla greek yogurt instead of the regular vanilla yogurt. The greek kind has more protein. Finally no artifical sweetners, use products with Stevia instead. Glad to see your results but simple adjustments will yield better results.

  • Well, I just know what worked for me in the past. Cinnamon still seems to be helping me to hold down the average blood sugar over the AIC 3 Month span. I have only used the Yogurt in the past in order to be able to eat the Cinnamon. I suppose that whatever helps You the most is the best route for You to take for Your Diabetes treatment. I will now reccomend a lot of bitter melon juice, some apple cider vinegar and some cinnamon proportionately to control Diabetes.

  • I get the feeling that you think using cinnamon is a green light to eat sugars. Yes cinnamon has fantastic properties for controlling blood sugars but that doesn't mean loading up 2lbs of yogurt(140g Sugar) with 5 tbsp's of cinnamon makes it ok. Or eating 3 bananas(60g Sugar) is ok too as you're overloading on cinnamon. Your body can only use about 2-3g in 24 hours. You desperately need to cut your carb intake. The amount of sugar in your blood right now should be no more than 4g or a teaspoon.

  • I have a Question:Do you need to put that much quantity of ingredients as you have in the video?For a 70KG or 85KG person do you require the same amount as mentioned in the video?If not then please tell me how much is necessary,that would be a great help and one more thing;Are Banana's good for a Diabetic Patient?

  • @Zapperlord5583 I am not a Natural Doctor but I just think that if You just get in as much as possible without making Yourself feel slightly sick within a couple of weeks that's probably anybody's limit. I have used a lot of cinnamon over the past few Years but I always have to take a "holiday" from using It for a Month or two because It felt like It was burning me out. I have found this Year that I rarely ever feel this way as long as I am mixing It in with my cereal Ice Crand wheat germ.

  • Yes, given my experience with It, I don't think that You can do any wrong by coating them with a capsule to help You to get the cinnamon down. I just wonder about how many capsules that You would need take in order to get enough of It into Your system to make a difference. I have always taken in a few large tablespoons of Cinnamon, whether It's in Ice Cream, mixed with Wheat Germ or in Coffee or in Yogurt or just mixed in with some breakfast cereal. Keep up the Good work!

  • do you know if the cinnamon capsules work the same way? maybe you can buy the vegetable capsule casings & fill them up with cinnamon? that will definitely help the taste..

  • MikeyPikeyPix: Thank You Very Much for Your suggestions. Tapioca pudding is one of my favorites. It's Good to know that You can mix cinnamon in with the tapioca pudding without adding any sugar. I never used to eat Tapioca pudding when I found out about all of the sugar. You have to be able to eat cinnamon on a regular basis, no matter what It takes. Ice cream, granola cereal and wheat germ were my best ways to consume It recently

  • I am trying to incorporate cinnamon into things I like to eat. I've tried to find things that taste good with cinnamon, such as; canned pears. If you don't want the syrup that comes with it you can drain it out and rinse the pears in water or use regular pears bought from the produce section of your supermarket. Also tapioca tastes good with cinnamon. You can make it using stevia instead of sugar and add lots of cinnamon.

  • Wow! Thank You Very much! They did'nt find anything wrong with my liver except when I had my gall bladder taken out before I started taking a lot of cinnamon. They found a few benign cysts at the time. Again, Thank You for Your comment.

  • Robert: I hate to tell You but I have had the hemorrhoids quite a bit after starting this particular treatment. I also got some diarrhea quite a bit from time to time while I was on this particular treatment regimen. All in all, I would have to say It's been worth It to lose my diabetes, at least for awhile.   • @kb3bzy Hemorrhoids are often indicative of liver toxicity. You may wanna do a cleanse.

  • Wheat Germ added to the Cinamon mixture as a pallitive additive is one thing that I have found out about recently. It really will kill the burning taste of Cinnamon and It will allow You to eat more Cinnamon. I will usually pour some wheat germ on the diet Ice cream or Yogurt and then add a lot of Cinnamon and then pour on a lot more Wheat Germ in order to kill the taste some more. Mix the Wheat Germ and the Cinnamon thoroughly and then add it to Your food.

  • luckymauro: Thank You Very Much indeed! It was working very Well before, but I guess Diabetis goes into remission if You really work at It. There are also different methods for each person that will work well for them. I had my A1C stay at 6.3 since last March, but that is only because I have been active and I have lost some weight. I have been using Apple Cider Vinegar a lot more recently, even for my toes and any cuts that I get on my fingers. Zinc oxide powder and Vitamin E oil also help

  • I have'nt been eating much refined sugar and I regret It when I do. It's not something that I would intentionally add to my diet. I've been checking my A1C though and everything is still at the 129's and 6.3 so I'm not much worse because of It. I eat some ice cream with sugar right now if It is all that I can find and I have also been drinking some Iced tea with sugar in It and I will eat chocolate baking chips with some sugar in them, if I feel I need the chocolate.   • do you still eat refined sugar? that's surely going to negate the benefit to a large degree

  • Yes, my weight seems to "tip" my glucose tolerance level whenever It goes above 250 pounds, even for a little bit, like up to 265. I have noticed that as soon as I went back to work, doing some Truck Driving and related tasks my A1C came back down again. Since I do not have my own Truck yet, I can't say how much my sugar level will go down once I start carrying some cinnamon and apple cider Vinegar. I just stayed with a SUBWAY veggie and multivitamin diet and I was able to maintain it 6,3

  • I think you are just fat. Yu need to eat this yoghurt daily and nothing else. stop the other chips and crap you eating. loose weight man.

  • Sparklygal81: I was eating a lot of Yogurt with a few oz. of cinnamon in it, as much as I could digest per day and eating Ice cream with Cinnamon in it and It seemed to be working really well with the 2 to 3 glasses of Apple Cider Vinegar, for awhile. I then got to be unemployed and more inactive, so my diabetes came back in force. I am now drinking a lot of bitter gourd juice (methi) with the Apple Cider Vinegar in Iced tea and also taking 2 500 mg. Metformin tabs. for now. I am at a 6.3.

  • hi Joe, I am really interested in this. im also a type 2 diabetic and wondered how much cinnamon you actually eat a day, seems quite a lot? lol. Also, do you still take prescribed meds? my dr is trying to get me on a cholesterol tablet but I am resisting (stubborn lol) i just think i'm on enough meds, 7 different tabs a day plus 2 inhalers and I heard you can get bad side effects. hope to hear from ya soon! well done on getting a1c so low

  • After some encouraging from some friends on facebook, I decided to try out cinnamon. I seriously HATE injecting myself so many freaking times a day. It's a pain in the ass, so figured I'd give it a try yesterday. Thanks for some tips! :)

  • Has that non fat yoghurt got Aspartame in it? If so then probably better off with natural full fat pro biotic yoghurt. Much healthier and lower in carb content since most non fat foods have a higher % of carbs/sugars.

  • wow, even laced with sugar it works. Thanks man. I just bought a big bag of cinnamon. I am going to capsule it up and just pop the pills. If you buy the pills straight out they are expensive.

  • I know what You mean. My last one was at 65 but my fasting glucose level went up to 181 on 11/10. I have heard that some people that had extremely huge A1C's lost weight and their dietary lifestyle and brought It back down to normal ranges.

    I have been unemployed for about 6 Months so I gained back 15 to 20 pounds and became more sedentary so I have been horrified to watch my Diabetes come back to the same way that It was before I started doing all of this.

  • sarahandjim92405: I wish that I could say that the Swanson Vitamins Cinnamon tablets that I had been taking were really doing a Good job, with the Apple Cider Vinegar, by themselves--over the past 3 Years--for me except that they have not. I have switched over to the powdered cinnamon, in bulk, and have started taking that in TABLESPOONS full in any kind of a product that would mix with them well, like pancakes or Yogurt or IceCream and even some Coffee with heavy cream. It works!

  • wouldn't the Cinnamon pills work? That is what I started along with 6 tablespoons of organic apple cider.
