People are retarded. First of all, these kind of TV lives always have the instrumental track played while the singer actually sings. The reason is because usually these kind of shows have several bands in the same day, so it would be a pain to set up everything. it's to promote the band, not to have a real concert. Second, Kozi was just doing that because it fit the visual appeal of the band, he's not actually playing. The instruments aren't even plugged in. Live he used a synth patch for it.

They were probably just protesting against being forced to use playback, I've seen a lot of bands do it, Muse and Iron Maiden being memorable cases, they obviously wanted to play live, but weren't allowed so Kozi decided have a little fun with the situation :)

I don't think it's possible to play a guitar with a violin bow, because, unlike on a violin, on a guitar, the string are all on the same level, making it impossible to play each of the strings individually with a bow.

I've just tried it.
And you really can't play any string except the first and last ones.
And they don't sound really good.
So unless his guitar is specially built for this I don't think it would work.
