an easy way to make them not move is to give them a heart fruit and if it works they won't move until they come out of mating season

I knew it already too. Not very spectacular but damn efficient. I like it more to pump up my chaos with chaos-drives though... just too bad that those fly away after you "used" them, which forces you to turn around, taking one and facing your chao again (all in a rush) before you can repeat the procedure. It really sucks with chaos-drives after doing it a while.

Here's some good animals to use in order to raise particular stats:

Condors = lv 99 in fly

Otters = lv 99 in swim

Leopards = lv 99 in run

Bears = lv 99 in power

i go to the hero garden, put the chao behind the broken pillar (the chao will stay still), then do it! hope i helped!

thats what i usualy do. then my chao falls asleep. and when i wake it up the animal is far away and when i get it back my chao is asleep again. im training my chaos chao hawk

i just be patient wen the chao goes asleep...i just sit there untill it wakes up, then i go bak to do it again! i have my chao to all 99 besides stamina and fly

it kind of helps to use this glitch with the dark garden tombstone glitch.(you may already know this but)you set a chao under the block next to the tombstone closest to the chao transporter.all it does isturn around(dont whistle or it will get out)

That glitch is very helpful. It used to take 4 to 5 days to level a chao to level 99. Now I can do it in about an hour.
