  • lol goto shave

  • I like that boy

  • That's at kamshopping In oahu I live In oahu I think i saw u guys there

  • this machine helps broke dudes like me

  • I would have kept saving

  • Before I forget, that isn't my dad, he's just a family friend of mine.

  • Just so everyone knows, I'm the asian kid. Don't even bother to call me irritating or annoying or anything racist about me. -.-

  • @darkrebels851 You did great buddy! Thank you for sharing! Forget the haters. No matter what you do in life you will always run in to them. The world is full of them. :)

  • Why not just go to the bank? They deposit coins into your account for free.

  • @ncfo20 We were curious about how the machine works! In fact we went to the bank branch in the supermarket where this machine was located, and bought 5 dollars of coins to put into this Coinstar machine to test it out! Ha ha ha.

  • yooo, that kid is smarter than his dad. His dad seemed madd confused. lmao

  • you would have got all money but it has a 10cent fee for every dollar

  • Looks like over 18,000 people did watch it ^-^

  • Wow this guy is weirddddddddd. Does he even know how uncomfortable he makes people feel when he says the dumb things he says

  • I watched this video because i was afraid to get up there and not know what im doing lol.

  • My American friend told me about this and I can't figure out how this machine does it, how? how does any slot machine know what amount of money you put in? If based on size it's not that hard I guess but this machine spits out old coins too how does it know this? Mindblowing.

  • @colloredbrothers A combination of size and weight.

  • @TerrorBlack

but they all fall in at once so weight I think is almost impossible or not?

  • How does this get 11,000 views?

  • Has anyone said this to you before You sound like Morgan Freeman

  • @xRedTurtlex Really! LOL that is so funny!

  • @duenyen btw i enjoi watching your videos

  • @xRedTurtlex Dead ay he do sound like him!

  • @xRedTurtlex He sounds like Fred Sherman 2 me!

  • @mchllwoods omg he does

  • I would not recommend using coin star. I recommend going to your bank and ask for empty rolls and then you could roll your coin and bring it to your bank, so you do not get charge a fee, but because your total was so little the 9% charge does not matter to much.

  • I look for silver dimes to! I cant believe that check for them!

  • The dude filming this video is so fuck in annoying!

  • its annoying it when it rejects some coins but when u put em back in it accepts

  • i hate it when it rejects some coins but when u put em back in it accepts

  • @lopezrec the dad has a pretty annoying voice

  • @hh155 nah he sounds like morgan freeman

  • @lopezrec Don't hate the fact that he has more money than you.

  • @ryanronning he has 4.10 cents i am telestra hedge funds maneger i earn 125 thousand a year. you dumb fucking noob.

  • @lopezrec Yeah right. If you earned 125k a year you would have more intelligence than to be trolling around youtube calling someone a "dumb fucking noob". Only tweens use noob. Either way stop picking on kids and go punch buttons on your calculator. Oh wait... I did see your video of you counting money. Quite impressive, however money won't ever replace those female lookin' hands.

  • @ryanronning well i love my hands <3 and if i didnt like them with all the money i have i would just have an operation and yes i was wrong about my 125 k a year thats just my bass pay i ussally get an extra 50-60k in comissions each year and whats a tween you derrick? You Dumb Fucking Noob!

  • @ryanronning oh yeah and i love my female hands the amount of female bodies those fingers have been in is impressive to though you probly woudent care because you seem like a fagg

  • @lopezrec way to be racist you idiot!

  • @lopezrec OMG! You're so retarded! He's testing out to see how the machine works. So shut you mouth...inbred moron!!!

  • @RobertLei ......(duh) you don;t think i know that...... why do so many people that have youtube accounts seem to be brain dead and can not comprahend the simplest things in life oh dear i really do fear for the next generation of peoples this earth will have to house

  • @lopezrec Shut up troll!

  • lol this is kool. i gotta do this with my dimes and nickels today but im scared ): people always watch me like O.o it's just coins.. fuinny thing is this is the first video of a grocery store i saw on youtube EVER.. and it's in Honolulu Hawaii where i live :) tehe coinstar = the shits..

  • i did it and i got $70

  • This is how i used to get gas money.. but its free at banks if you have a account!!

  • @plocco Interesting. We just wanted to try out this machine, and went to the bank branch inside the grocery store to buy a few rolls of pennies, first looking to see if there were any valuable ones, and then dumping them into this machine to get most of our money back. Total cost of our experience was maybe 50 cents.

  • @duenyen lol young and no job.

  • @duenyen I have two silver quarters and two silver dimes. The U.S. Government stop using silver in the coinmaking in 1964. You should check the year on your coins if the year is before 1965 that coin is a silver coin. Only nickels were never made with silver. Pennies were made with copper until 1982.

  • @pjmgame Well, with this batch of coins, we did search through them first and found one foreign penny but no silver coins. What you say is true, except that war nickels have some silver content. Incidentally, the nickel content of nickel coins in circulation today exceeds the current spot price of nickels. However, it is illegal to melt them down just to cash in on the nickel content.

  • @duenyen Do you have any rare coins? Like silver coins or very old ones?

  • @pjmgame I did buy some silver coins at a coin shop last year, but now silver is getting too expensive!

  • @duenyen Did you find any silver coins in your change? I found two silver quarters and two silver dimes. I can't believe people just spend them without keeping them. You should check your change for silver coins. Maybe the silver coins might be very valuable some day :)

  • @pjmgame Yes, I try to check but you know what. The boy in the video went through the coins in our household cash box, and found a Canadian silver dime! I was very surprised! Personally, I have never found a silver dime in recent years in my change, but maybe I've been missing them because of my inattention.

  • @duenyen You can always tell the difference between a silver coin and a non silver on by dropping them on the table. The sounds are very different. I like the sound of silver when it hits the table :)

  • @pjmgame It seems silver coins are lower in pitch.

  • @duenyen Have you ever been to the U.S. Mint?

  • @pjmgame No I have not. But next time in am in Washington DC, I think I will visit, as I am more interested in coins now, than before. Do you know if there are other possible mints to visit? How about San Francisco, which is closer to Honolulu, where I live.

  • @duenyen The U.S. Mint is located in Philadelphia and Denver. I am not sure about San Franciso. D.C has the Buearu of Printing and Engraving. There you see how our paper money is made. Its very cool. The Mint shows you how coins are made. Both tours of the Mint and Engraving are free. The Gift Shops are expensive though. But overall the tours are fun. I think you'll enjoy it :)

  • @pjmgame Thanks for the info. I just found out from their website that the San Francisco does not accommodate visitors, as all space is needed for personnel and machinery.

  • @duenyen Your welcome :) Both tours are worth seeing. Sadly, we can't take the money home with us. LOL. Take Care now :)

  • @pjmgame nickels were made of silver from 1942-1945

  • @18wheeler76 Do you have any silver nickels? I'm just curious. Are these coins rare to find?

  • i wish my dad would do that with me

  • Lol the kid is just tryin to ignore his dad waiting in line lol

  • where is this? I have never seen public coin counter before...

  • I have used coinstar 2 times, and let me tell you, I take over a ziploc bag full of pennies, It counted a little over 2,000 pennies and I got $20.00 for it (after the processing fee) and I rather pay a small fee for my 2,000 pennies then have me count them and wrap them..to me its worth it. I think to make it worth it, You really need to have lots of coins.

  • WOW ur pretty dumb why did u check each coin, it gave some back because sometimes theres tooo many coins and it doesnt get through. sometimes asains are dumb as fuck and im not racist cuz im asian too (filipino)

  • cool video. did you get imbaressed by your dad

  • Is that your son?

  • Thumbs up all the way Duenyen. Very cool seeing adults teach and interact with youngsters like this. More adults/parents should follow this example. Also, I just used a coinstar for the first time today after watching this vid! Thanks guys!

  • sympa le duvet du chinois .

  • I thought I will never watch a 10 min video on a coin star thingi....but hey.... I watched it till the end! I haven't used a coin change machine myself...and hence it was interesting to watch and listen to you guys!

    cheers!

  • The video does draw you in to watch. Glad you enjoyed it!

  • i have way more

  • lol thats all you saved up?!

  • it is fuck up how it dose not take badle damg coins thant is not right

  • Well, we only put in a little more than $4 of change, and the fee is 8.9% so it was around 40 cents. Not bad, considering we got a fun experience to satisfy our curiosity and I also got a video out of it to post to YouTube!

  • ok then.but im not so crazy about paying taxes not even 1cent! im not greedy i just want to save lots of money.

  • wow. that one sucks. the one they have at the bank i go to has a moving conveyor belt you just turn on when you walk up to it. and it will keep going until there are no more coins left on the thing or until you hit the stop button.

  • I'm guessing this is an older model than yours, but not as old as the first commenter. But we had fun using it anyway!

  • theres one of those in the shop i work at, its so annoying, i think it might be older than this one, it is louder i think
