No Sir! Waheeda was engaged to a muslim man from the UK who hid the truth about his marriage! But his first wife spilled the beans when she found out that her husband was going to marry Waheeda. In the resulting scandal, Waheeda cancelled the engagement. It was at this point that Kamaljeet Singh proposed to Waheeda. If Waheeda wanted to be a 2nd wife, she could have married Guru Dutt who was totally madly in love with her. But Waheeda did not want to wreck Guru Dutt's marriage to Geeta Dutt.
