  • I just bought this game again on Amazon. Having a lot of problems with the ray gun not shooting in the seal level -__- Anyone else have this?

  • I did always collect all bars then put them into boat

  • Could anyone rip the music of this game and post it on mp3 or something like that ? It would be really nice and kind. Thanks.

  • @VintageSH

Read our channel FAQ, you will find download links there :)

  • @cubex55 Thanks but I checked them and there's only the intro song :'(

  • how the hell did you have the will power to play such a horrible game for a hour and a half, I played the second one for like 5 minutes and nothing happens

  • Ah sweet old memories from childhood c,")

  • I always enter these video thinking "Nah I don't think I know this one", and when I enter, I'm like "OHHH YEAHH I REMEMBER!!". Epic games, epic times.

  • those fish in the coats that follow you used to scare the crap out of me

  • aaah the memories of this game i had when i was young! loved this game along with robocod. what games look like today tho makes u underappreciate the legends of the past.....

  • GOD THIS IS SOOO CUTE!!! xD

i actually never realized that as a kid ... but this fish IS freaking cute!! xDD

goood so many memories.. don't know where to put them all...

  • thats one cute fishy. I used to play this at school on the Acorns, then when I got home on my Amiga! good fun times.

  • wtf? Dude, I freakin die on mission 11... how come those stupid scientist guys didnt kill you? Whats your secret? And as for the ending... yo Ive been trying to beat this game since I was 4 years old and Ive never been dissapointed about an ending in my life.. it sucked... lol

  • Yo back in 1994 when I was 9 years old, I could'nt wait to come home from school on a friday and just load this up on my Sega Genesis..man dem-were da days where I didn't have ta worry bout SHIT!!!!

  • haha man I swear that ended with such an anti-climax! I'd skipped to the end to see a final boss of some sort X_X was I disappointed xD

  • WHOA!!!

I used to love this game! Thanks for posting this!!!!

    =)

  • Thanks for this I never got to the end of the missions, I suppose I got board or just run out of time I think I used to get up to about Mission 6-7!!!

    DA

  • Lmao I remember the spy kit I got with this game. Good times. Must've been about 6 years old!

  • I hated the level with the gold bars and that infernal ghost used to follow you around all the time. Great game, though.

  • that ghost guy literally scared me shitless as a kid.. i never played it after that, i used to run back to my home in the game and that was all she wrote..

  • Likewise...the ghost scared me as a little kid, too! Still a fun game, tho.

  • I always said James Pond is the most underrated videogame character ever. It deserved to be more known, the character is awesome, and the games are wonderful games, little masterpieces on their own (I still rank Robocod as one of the top 5 2d Plataform games ever)

I really would like to meet Chris Sorrell someday.

  • me too........

  • I hope MGM didn't sue the guys who did this game for doing a ripoff of the MGM logo and for using the soundbyte of the mid-80's MGM lion roar.

  • Man, I loved james pond games so much! and most amiga games! Like they have so much details! and kids really notice details, when I was a kid I enjoyed every detail!

graphics are great, BUT you still can use your imagination and that is really important! like in Chaos engine, when I picked up " power ups " I couldn't say what the item resembled I thought it was baseball mitt...

  • funny you say that, both James Pond and The Chaos Engine had sound and music made by the late Richard Joseph, which IMO was one of the best gaming musicians ever.

  • Damn those chicks are ugly =U

  • damn you

  • I used to love playing this.

  • lol, plz don't compare, both has its own charms. and robocod is sequel so good sequal to good game.

  • What did all the extra items do? I remember the ray gun could shoot, and the goldfish bowl he could wear on his head enabled him to breathe when not underwater, but thats all I remember.

  • I remember sun glasses are used for seeing invisible monsters/jellyfish. Cant remember any more items...I know the dynamite is only used on one level to help you get 100%

  • And then there is the gun you used, and the helmet which lets you breathe at land - which I'm surprised you never used in level 11.

  • @cubex55 'sun glasses are used for seeing invisible monsters/jellyfish'

HOLY SHIT, seriously? I thought the game was seriously bugged or something!

  • The top hat is for taking less damage from enemies.

  • @YanniXenobia Umbrella for floating

  • this is so great that you uploaded this. Thanks a lot.

this brings back a lot of nostalgic moments for me :-)

    Keep up the good work.
