You need to realize that you already have "redistributed wealth" and it is known in common terms as TAXES! What the government does with fractions of your income and your mortgage is their business, but they always distribute it as they see fit. When you're handing money to the causes of those who direly needs help in any way, you are doing something unselfish that is even mentioned (I think) as an honorable deed in the Bible (for those of you who still believe in prehistoric textbooks).

They have not been consistant at all. Also, you can't compare a governer with a ssenator on levels of experience, and besides. Palin actually is probably the best Vice president on the pro-life and energy issue. Also, you would have to stabilize the economy before taxing the rich and causing buisinesses to go out of buisiness. Nobody likes taxes, especially when most of your hard earned money goes rebuilding that shit whole called Iraq or bailing out Wallstreet. I don't understand why people refuse to just open up and accept all of the wonderful things Obama wants to do for this country. Regardless of who you support, Obama is not a Socialist, a Communist, or a Terrorist. He is an American, like you, trying to do what he thinks is best for the common good. I don't care who you vote for, thats your right, but please people, open up those closed minds.

the more taxpayer money he spends, the more lobbyists are lined up to line his pockets. And by the way, we already have a "share the wealth" economy in California. Bush's economy isn't nearly as bad as ours, California has the 5th largest GDP in the world and is bankrupt.

Inflation sucked in the 70's and early 80's, but on the world stage, Bush makes Jimmy Carter look like Winston Churchill. It will take many years to clean the Bush mess.
Nixon was a BAD joke, but what's NOT so funny is that even HE is beginning to look "good" in comparison to the pseudo "conservatives" (Reagan/Bush41/Bush43) that followed.

You must not be familar with the Clinton Community Re-investment act of 1999 that Bush and McCain tried to reverse 14 times which now has destroyed peoples life savings and the stock market. When the democrats got congress (3% approval rating for the dem led congress) that is when the country started to go down hill. That is exactly where to lay the blame. I used to vote Dem., but I will be voting for McCain on the 4th.

Every individual congressman and woman (R and D) has a higher approval rating than Bush. And "R" congress rating is even lower than overall congress.
Funny how you ignore the prior 20 years of RED INK Republican leadership.
The economy was in the crapper LONG before this mess. 2001 - Jan 2007 BLANK CHECK governing.

Clinton turned the mortgage-funding firms into a monopoly that dispensed cash, made loans to Democrat voting blocs & handed favors, jobs & money to political allies. This led inevitably to corruption & the Fannie-Freddie collapse. Fannie-Freddie became home to out-of-work politicians, mostly Clinton Democrats. A good CRA rating was key for a bank that wanted to expand or merge. Loans started being made on the basis of race & little else. Minorities made up 49% of 12.5m loans, many now going bad.

Sending in Obama to fix "Bush's economy" is like putting the Looter dude in charge of FEMA to help with the Katrina Aftermath. He has no experience, but he's there to help himself. Spending and earmarks are mostly done with lobbyists who bribe politicians to pass legislation. Remember the bailout? Deregulation?
Meanwhile, Obama has no proven fiscal history. Palin does. Biden thinks this is his chance to be president.

There are some men who transcend labels and categories, great men able to accomplish great and incredible things in the face of incredible odds. When Bill Clinton got involved in the Balkans, the repubs said he would create a disaster, when he asked to support the Mexican banks the Repubs wouldn't give him one penny, and when he sent his budget to the repub senate they tryed to reject it. When the bill came, I decided not to tip the waiter because he was wearing an Obama T-shirt. I explained to him after i ate that I wasn't going to tip him but I was going to redistribute his tip to someone that I deemed more in need, specifically the homeless guy outside. He stood there in disbelief, then angrily stormed away.I went outside, gave the homeless guy $5 and told him to thank the waiter inside.Wonder how the waiter liked that "change".
