@UhYoUaReDeAd It is possible to go further by using unconventional means. The military can pilot some of their planes from the other side of the world. I've always thought about utilizing two cellphones in order to send the signals back n forth. In this way, the range would be as far as the cellphone service allows.

I was always wondering why these old guys never chased some cars, I thought of a GREAT idea for 2 people... one can fly, the other can control the camera and you can attach a CHEAP walky talky to YELL at people as you fly by them.... and then record their reactions by pointing an HD Pro camera (HD 1080p) on the back! PLEASE DO it! I'll SO donate $ if you make it

Much too dangerous, the driver can get frightened and finally crash. In this vid the drivers can't see me (except the truck driver at the beginning maybe, but I'm far away)

Also if the car is driving in the same direction I can't damage it because of almost zero relative velocity.

But I can fake the scene: closed street, induct the driver and pay the windshield if something goes wrong......
