Go sledding! Build a snowman! Go for a long wintry refreshing walk! I'm talking to myself as much as you btw, I live in Western NC and we got boatloads here too. Have fun with the snow, it's such a rare treat around these parts. I have been enjoying cream of wheat lately, it really hits the spot on a cold snowy day. I add splenda brown sugar, yum! I think the new year and post holiday awareness will help us all awaken from our hibernations. For now, enjoy the peacefulness the snow brings
Thanks, janelle. I've been craving a lot of oatmeal too. Those warm, sticky, filling foods have been on the top of my list. I'm just not craving fresh fruits like I was before.
I've been having similar issues. I just keep craving comfort foods and warm foods. I havent felt full all week, Im afraid I too am going to gain this week.
Hopefully when the Holidays are over this will all get easier!
we cant let snow be an excuse. think of it this way...if you bundle yourself up and go for a walk you're going to be burning SO many extra calories with all the layers you'll have on...i have to say that i am reveling in the irony that is that walmart shelf. and you know what...turn on the heat and blast some music and dance....you'll get that heart rate up...have you tried chili?
I love the way you said "Maybe admitting it....will help me....somehow" - a classic weight loss community youtube moment I feel!! So funny!!!!!!! You should watch back on it!! Man...I have realised, you know...its CHRISTMAS!! A special time, we can eat a few yummy things!! But....lets not go over board!! I am feeling exactly the same, lazy, in need of all sorts of foods.....we gotta keep it on track! Even if just a little!! Come on come on keep going!!
i know EXACTLY how you feel. hang in there! i had 4 days like that and then when i got snowed in, i was really careful what i ate and i kicked my workouts into high gear. sleeping extra helped too i'm sure. :)

here's a freakin' trick....stop admitting it...just get over it and keep it in your mind just for accountability....

That's one way to do it, but you know, you could say that to the whole WLC and they would disappear, right?
