My husband used to work in a prison kitchen, and they actually gave them food to serve in containers that were labeled "not for human consumption". Soggy cookies are one thing, food safety is another.

I'm from St. Charles. The law against swearing never had a real chance, but the table dancing and there was something about bars selling alcohol under cost. It's because things were getting pretty out of hand on main street, where a lot of bars became the destination for college students.
