the guy part isnt tru, the mother of the girl who died told them to add a guy "love life" to her story because she never had a guy and such...

but the whoel girl story is true itz based off a journal that the girl kept called "one litre of tears" she had the disease hence at the end of each episode there was pictures of a girl and her family etc.
