  • Sweet guitars! I love it when someone is so passionate about guitars.

  • now Thats the kind of guy i want working at Fender, i hope theirs more ppl like him their :-)

  • @44eelz seriously. this guy clearly loves what he does and is directly involved with every guitar he has shown. very cool

  • Sell your old Fender stuff on eBay and get more money for your stuff!!

  • imagine, a 7 string fender, that would be fucking cool

  • How much does Mike love these guitars?

  • I mean a pine body guitar? Not so sure about that one

  • @rshull07 original telecasters were made from Pine dude. works extremely well, try the squier classic vibes tele its extremely nice and also made of pine :)

  • I like this guy

  • Curious - why by a Tele that sounds like a Strat? They are different animals!

  • They don't mention that birdseye maple-necks are less stable, than ordinary maple. Does birdseye maple-necks sound different or are they just more nicer looking?

  • "Hey buddy your guitar smells funny" Yeah i know 'cause it's made with barn wood...

  • that tele looks nice, serious guitar

  • I love how he refers to the bridge pickup as the "lead" and the neck as the "rhythm" when most players (outside of blues and jazz) use the bridge pickup for rhythm and the neck pickup for leads.

  • @metalwillhatecrew

I guess its just a traditional thing. Gibson Les Pauls have labels on their toggles that show the neck position as "rhythm" and the bridge position as "treble."

  • @themodernguitarist Well yea, I realized that. I'm just saying that times have changed and this guy needs to get with the times lol.

  • @metalwillhatecrew

Trust me, with guitar, people love to stay with the old fashioned, which is why everybody clings to their Strats, Teles, Les Pauls, SG's, and tube amps. =P

  • @themodernguitarist Really? Because I've never touched a guitar before or played through a tube amp. Thanks for informing me.

  • I'm pretty sure that no one that plays a tele wants it to sound like a strat!

  • @mike31jmb

someone who prefers the strat sound but likes the tele shape...

  • @oscarmeyer516006 that's ridiculous. it makes no sense at all the body works with the guitar or are you one of those guys that think you can make anything sound like anything else?

  • @mike31jmb

I agree in theory it might not work because of the body but thats irrelevant because you didn't mention that originally... also even if it didn't quite work it would still sound closer to a strat hence my statement still makes sense.

  • Seymour Duncons on a Fender? Shit yeah.
