On this night of the 31st year of John Lennons Murder .. I listen to this Beautiful Ethereal Love Song of John Lennon to His Love Yoko.. and how sad that he was never given that chance.. to grow old with his wife or see his children come of age become men let alone grow old.. How unfair is that. Because of some sick Monster took that away from John and for that he should burn in Hell for all eternity. This song like so many of Johns Beautiful Ethereal Love songs just make me cry. I miss him so
there is something truly incredible about the sound of this song. something magic between John's voice & the reverb of the snaredrum. i find it very touching. probably the perfect "goodbye" song with that sweet sorrow sentiment. it's just extremely somber & sorrowful that they never "grew old together"
So they decided to give this song the Free as a Bird treatment... This only goes to say that once you're dead, they can do whatever they want of your work. And everybody's happy. But you're no longer part of it...
god bless our love. peace on earth...

Beauty demo. Low-fi sound. Honest music.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
why he let yoko sing on this album is beyond me, such a horribly horribly bad choice

@stavie03 John was already dead when she did, so show respect

The lyrics are fantastic. They fit the song perfectly.
