original is from Dave Dudley - six days on the road. this is a dutch cover of that song. i`m origin dutch, but i drive in the UK now. i have Henk wijngaard in the CD player now and then just to think of "old below sealevel Netherlands" Henk makes me have a proud feeling of being a Dutch :) . but now i`m drving through England and Scotland, and i`m playing the old now a days. I`m not a scania fan. they might be pretty good tho, but i prefer the Volvo`s more (for americans: it`s a battle that goes back ages ago, both are swedish makes). my thing on Volvo is (over here) they have a good service, and if you use em right, you hardly have any trouble with em. Scania, would have the same deff, but in my pinion, they just look like a shoebox, aka, to Square :) me, i`m driving a Volvo 460 2008. new one , so i`m happy :)

We had scanias back in the 80's. they never got past the east coast market. I still see them running in the new jersey port area. name me another truck so well made that it can take the day in day out pounding of port work for 20 years with no dealer support. I wish they had not pulled out of the usa. we would be driving very different truck today than we are. most of the USA drivers have never been in a cabover(they suffer from big hood envy) and have not diven a modern one.

Its because the second axle is a steering axle, thats why its on singles. What we call a Chinese 6 in the UK, one drive axle and two steers. And we do not sell more trucks than anybody else. Krullb797 must be one of those people with the Scania disorder. Maybe he'd like some fish to go with the chip on his shoulder!
