Coming from a Person who has been to the town Halls, and the Tea Parties(not a birther though) what does this have to do with the song anyway? Michael Penn is a great, often underappreciated Artist.Obama is a Politician with legions of people who can't think,or won't think for themselves, and a 24 hour spin operation. How are they related?
This reminds me of the old Army Hospital at Ft. Campbell. The hallways went on forever and ever and you had to walk a mile to have bloodwork then a mile back to the exam room. Seriously. Ok random I know.
I bought the first 2 albums when they were new & loved them, then sort of forgot about them. Recently I picked up the other 3 CDs, and not only enjoyed them but also fell back in love with the first 2. So it's really cool that I have 5 CDs worth of great music from Michael Penn. I'm now a big fan.
I just recently discovered Penn's music...and I love it! But it's so impossible to find many of his songs online :( Oh well, it gives me an excuse to buy his CDs! :D Course, my favourite song of his is Walter Reed...
Wow! I had "MARCH" on vinyl back then and loved it to pieces! This is on of the finest music vids i saw in years (toppped by the FILED MUSIC vid with the drawing! :). Great song, too! What album is this from?
This video comes with the special edition of Boogie Nights. Good God, this is waaay back when Phil Hoffman was just a schlub playing supporting roles.
Yes it certainly was. This video is featured on the Boogie Nights special features, as it was filmed while they were making Boogie Nights. Director, Paul Thomas Anderson also has a commentary explaining the video. It's good stuff.
Michael Penn is a brilliant talent. If you like him you may be interested in checking out some of the Honeydogs videos. He is a compadre of theirs and it shows. Please let me know what you think.
All the references to "The Prisoner" in this video are really great. Even the name of the album and the album cover are Prisoner references. Totally cool.
Phil Hoffman lol

jeremyc311709 2 years ago
Nope. Looked it up. According to Wikipedia, it was filmed in downtown Los Angeles in the longest hallway in North America.
