hey, do you know the cheapest way to travel in italy -intercity like from rome - florence - milan - venice beside using the trenitalia bcoz its kinda expensive.? are all train is the trenitalia or there are others?
@nie9aries Aside from the train there are buses that are cheaper, but just take longer. They are cheap and safe and go many places so that might help you somewhat. Thanks for watching and commenting .Just wish i could help you more!
Thank you for the direction, very informative. One question though: it says online to preorder train ticket from Rome to Venice (high speed train), is it cheaper to buy from the machine in the station OR to preorder prior to arriving to Italy? Also, is there a high speed train to Tuscany? Thanks!
@Cookiekat31 price is the same from the machine or from the ticket office. but macine is a lot faster, also same price online (i have not seen a big difference in price). the high speed eurostar trains do make a few stops in tuscany. but not in the smaller quaint towns and villages. thanks for writing and commenting.
hey video guy, when ylu speak its lod an clear, but then you ask a question like "whn you buy a ticket, you have to validate it.. and if you DONT validate it,.... blah blah blha.. (its all drowned out)"
please do not turn the camera around when you say something important. Thanks man.
@binoyrakesh Thanks for the heads up. I have been trying to get better with the background noise and my voice. Thanks for watching and commenting and giving me a heads up!

@laimona2020 When you buy the ticket in the machine you will have an option to buy a reservation. Some trains like the eurostar trains require a reservation so you will have to choose one anyway. I recommend just using hte machines if you have a credit or debit card as you do not have to wait in the long lines and the machines are very simple to use, they are also in 5 or 6 languages. But you can get the reservations on the machines or in the ticket offices.
@woltersworld Thank you very much for your clear answer. How about the metros? Are the metros lines passing in Central stations too like Germany where the metros are underground in central stations? The tickets machines of metros different than trains? What is the different between 1st and 2nd? If I have a reserved seats why I should worried about the classes?
@laimona2020 Well there are only metros basically in Milan, Rome & more or less naples. the metros pass by the central stations so if you are coming in that way you will be ok. just watch out for pickpockets on the metros. Rome is horrible for it. Metro tickets can be bought at a kiosk where someone will sell them to you or machines (different than train ticket machines, i usually get my train tickets from the machine and buy my metro tickets from a person). no need to go 1st class 2nd is OK
@cesaremario1968 Thank you :) I love italy so much and I want everyone that travels there to have the best time possible... even if making sure they dont miss their train is part of it :)
that Arrival/departure part is so basic...it looks very american, I saw american instructions, they're like " take your right hand press red button" etc. ;)
@MsAppleeater i agree, but some people still mess it up. when i am waiting for the train and i see people looking at the wrong one i still go up at least once a day and tell them "that one is departures guys"

Thanks for such brilliant videos.
Can anybody just clarify do I need to validate a ticket for Rome's metro, or is the validation thing just for the main trains? Thanks :)
