I actually think you've really made these shoes truly ONE OF A KIND...that's the whole idea of DIY. I also think it takes confidence and true style to pull off over the top pieces like these shoes and make it work for you. I think if you'd only done a small portion as some comments suggest, it wouldn't be much difference from the other styles that you can get from a shoe department somewhere so why put in work on them at all? Nevertheless, DIY are experimental, fun, and frankly I feel inspired.

I think it's a great idea, but maybe more successful by using some brand of super glue. If you used a glue gun, when the weather is colder, it may cause the pearls to be less adhesive if bumped.

I think the idea was cool, but I think it looks terrible. The gaps between the pearls is odd. It might look better if the shoes were white when you started, but it just looks sloppy to me

@Twotonetmw I didn't use a glue gun at all.. I used the E6000 glue from any craft store...glue gun would work too but I would be careful to let the glue always get tacky for a second before sticking the surfaces together..that's with any project tho

Hi.. I used E 6000 glue ... I recommend E 6000 or hot glue...just let the glue get a tad bit sticky first before actually applying the pearls or gems. Keep me posted on your project!!
