@chocolatemuffinzzz It's Friday Night Light's season 4 episode 5 "The son". Hands down the best, most heart-wrenching episode of the show and possibly of any show i've ever seen. Zach Gilford's acting in this episode ripped me apart. When he starts to lose it I just started bawling; and this song plays at the very end at the funeral.
the funeral scene in FNL could really make u cry cause this song just brought out the sadness in that scene. Just listening to this alone can cause ur eyes to tear up. I fuckin LOVE this song. SO mellow and at the same time heartbreaking. This song is truely perfection.
Everytime I hear this I picture Matt with that shovel and want to start bawling. I love FNL so much because it's so raw but it's real and believable, unlike most shows. When Matt showed up at freaked at the Taylor house, Friday Night Lights was on a new level of incredible for me. How Eric simply said "I'll walk you home." instead of having a heartfelt speech or hug in the middle of the road like most shows would have done (probably in the rain too). Beautiful.
I heard it on FNL too, end of the episode 5 season when Matt was burying his father, it was really strong and emotional, they couldnt have chose a better song. i love that show, to bad that its cancelled.
there's definitely more than just this song, so chances are that they're on the other songs, not to mention they play instruments too, which hasn't been unheard of.
Adding on to the Friday Night Lights talk. It once again made me appreciate the calibre of the actors on the show too because Zach Gilford (Matt) was just fantastic. No other song could have made the scene what it was

Friday Night Lights as a series finished. But, they're making a movie to follow the show. It's recent news. I think it'll be out by 2012.

looking at this picture, i can already create a profile for the band:
all together, they seem lovable but super-creepy but they seem to cancel each other out.
individually, the top left guy seems serious and the "ring leader"
top right the girl wants to be the leader but knows if she challenges the leader she'll be gone.
the bottom left guy wants to be more than friends with bottom right girl but the girl doesn't like him because he looks like a pedophile
