Gud Vid, 2 B honest I think the monster is what shows the survivors their pasts or ppl from ther past, how come one minute Eko's brother was ther, the next thing u know after he sed "u speak to me as if i were ur brother" the monster appeared... mayb the monster was also Walt, the apparition that led Shannon to her death
