@evendaniel it works just fine.....I got through the final boss fight on my first try. After you push the rock and Sheva comes over go back the way you came this will be your check point....then you can kill Wesker I used the hand cannon.

Wesker is easy to kill once again. All you need is the L.Hawk gun, any of the sniper rifles, and the Grenade Launcher with Nitrogen rounds. The L.Hawk gun pushes Wesker back. The sniper rifle is for when Wesker is on the other side of the cliff. The Grenade Launcher with the nitrogen rounds actually stop wesker coming at you. He will then do this spinning move where he puts his tentacles underground. He then will expose his chest. Shoot him in the heart. Part 1
