RE: joebendo1... I've seen Clapton many times in many state's. No show was better than the Philly show in 2006 or 2007. Just as you can hear the crowds reaction to every note played on this night in 1992 the same intellgent response was their in '07' and Clapton responded back with a masterful performance. Something about Philly brings out the best in him and I'm from Pittsburgh so I not patting my city on the back.
funny how the best solo ive heard for this song and from clapton, the song being "Old Love" from its almost very similar greek adapted city-state, excuse me, city-county: Philadelphia
Being a Philly boy, I was lucky enough to see him w/Blind Faith and Derek and the Dominoes at the old Electric Factory. Then at the Bangladesh Concert at the Garden in 72. I hadn't seen him since then until I took my niece and nephew to the Journeyman Tour. Then my niece took me to the Nothin' but the Blues tour concert. He is amazing! Have to see him again, and I feel very fortunate.
My name's Fran Raya and I'm a female singer/songwriter from the UK. I was invited to support Eric Clapton on his Scandinavian tour performing a set of my own songs. His band were Albert Lee, Gary Brooker, Chris Stainton, Dave Markee and Henry Spinetti. Great time, great artist, great musician and great memories. I am so proud to have toured with him.
I was at this one too. So cool to find it here.
