When I was a kid I listened to this cd often. Everytime I hear this I revisit that time. Not to be cliche, but the nineties had more sentiment in the music. Somewhere, feeling was lost in music and life. Though from a childs perspective and limited comprehension of lifes complexities, looking back, everything seemed easier to deal with back then. I guess as we get older we become burdened down, but somehow we can escape and revisit sentimentality and simplicity by a familiar song.

The DM original is always going to be my favourite, but as far as DM covers are concerned (and there are many) this has to be one of the best I've ever heard, it faithfully retains the structure of the original, and creates an equally good, yet different vibe - a very impressive take on a classic track without a doubt.

To be quiet honest depeche mode's original version is edgier and this is more you know relaxed but I have to admit this even though they're completely differen't this is much better but then again maybe it's because I'm so much more familiar with this type than the electronic sounds of depeche mode either way this is more alluring by far.

i like this song better for two reasons.. its the smashing pumpkins and there awesome.. second its done with real instruments not just a couple keyboards on a loop with a singer.. the original is a great song though its a great song with more energy then this song... this one seems more of a low bass version, it is different.. it seems almost like there playing around in the studio doing covers for fun rather then going all the way... a little ruff maybe but good
