The cat ears are part of a Devout's outfit. In Final Fantasy 3 the Devout class was the upgrade of the white mage, which had access to the highest level white spells.
Also, it's a part of Krile's White Mage Class outfit from Final Fantasy V. She's the girl who replaces her grandpa Galuf, after he sacrifices himself in trying to defeat X-Death by himself.
