they are both good characters. they have differences and they simularities. one is that they are both looking for revenge right from the start. carl is a guy who when is after revenge he does it by killing them however he can, aka as soon as possible even if it s a quick painless death he still fufils for example officer tenpenny(?). niko when he finds his guy he tortures them for a bit for example: darko, dimitri, pegerino, he kills them but annoys them first. he is an ex army so to me he wins
