I met Rod Sumpter in 1969. We where surfing at Crantock . Rod came along the beach and told about his cini movie in Crantock village hall. We where stoked, we had only ever seen Rod in copies of Surfer magazine. I met Rod agian 20 years later when I published a magazine called Surfs Up. Check out YouTube for Joss Bay and see some 1960's surfing in Kent filmed my me of the East kent Surf Club. The short movie in 8mm cini called Suck Em Up. Good surfing and peace from a 1960's sufer.
