This is more exciting than football and basketball because everyone can expect the Favorite to win but baseball is a question waiting to be answered by the top dog or the underdog who wins that BIG GAME (yes in Omaha).

Can you say loudest game ever in that stadium. I've sat in the Blatt every year sine i was 4 or 5 and that only husker win was the loudest most exciting game i have ever been too. The whole place was shaking was awsome maybe next year Huskers will be back for one of the last years at our Rosenblatt stadium...

I was in the Left field bleachers and i cant explain that feeling. I had goosebumps the size of baseballs and i was screaming like a little school girl. The most electric thing thats ever happened at any sporting event ive ever been to.

And Jim Rose stucks. I was listening to a game once and these are his exact words: "If its fair it gone!... it is... caught on the track"

Jeff Larish hit his second homer in the bottom of that same inning to tie it up. He hit his third later in extras to win the game.

But still, Gerch's HR in the top of the 9th was amazing. I was there, and i've never been more pumoed in my life
