Me too. :) I want the Mother series to be a part of my life more. ^^ Sometimes I like to browse through a store to see my favorite things up even if I'm not going to buy it, and to see what old school games are a lot of money and what isn't. It's like a whole museum video game gallery. ^^ EarthBound is so hard to find too. :(

Is a mother 4 all that hard? Example porky got out of the completely safe machine and even more power full and aims to destroy the world. Porky has become too strong so Lucas travels back in time to ask ness for help etc. Something like that.

@dmacleavy No offense, but that sounds way too similar to the stereotypical fan game, where the villain becomes more powerful, and all the main characters of the series unite.

Let's face it, an actual Mother 4 wouldn't have Ness, Ninten, nor Lucas, it'd have a new character.

Actually, there just so happens to be a Mother 4 being made right now by some fans. Normally, I'm not too impressed by fan-made games, but this looks pretty promising.

@zekrom117 There is more to it then just that. Take the Magypsis for instance. They are alot like Drag Queens what with thier appearence, the way the act, and the way they talk. That's not really something that is considered appropriate to be in a game that has an E rating. Then there is Nintendo of Japan's refusal to allow things like the Magypsis appearence and Dialouge changed because they feel it would detract from the charm of the game (which it would). Nintendo of America doesn't

Well, NoA did make the price WAYYYY TO HIGH. I mean 80 dollars for a game? Gotta admit, it was a great game, but it shouldn't be 80 dollars. And NoA said "This game stinks!" They did hate the Mother Series, but it is our loss and their loss.

@TheRebelchicken1 Nintendo DOES NOT hate the Mother series. They tried everything they could to have EarthBound released on Virtual Console, but copyright issues prevented it. Along with this, Mother 1 was canceled because the NES was already finishing it's run, and RPGs just weren't popular in North America yet. Mother 3's lack of release however, has not been explained.

@TheRebelchicken1 You're talking about Earthbound (Mother 2) right? The reason it was 80 bucks is because the game came with its own strategy guide. The game's box was fucking huge compared to the normal SNES game box, because that strategy guide came with it. I just remember renting the game all the time when I was a kid and seeing its big ass box on the shelf, getting like 50 day late charge fee because the game was to cool. Fuck I should have just kept it. Then I wouldnt have to play the rom

Sorry to disappoint you, but it probably isn't being sold anymore. It was made in 2006 and was the last, if not, one of the last games for the GBA. I'm sorry, but you're probably going to have to stick with eBay or emulators and ROMs.

The whole marketing campaign for Earthbound was a little too... unique. I think it was a nice concept but ultimately it fell flat on its own face.

I think the biggest problem was that M3 came to GBA at the time they NDS tried to make DS being the new GBA in N-A (= most seeling handheld console)

M3 was one of the games that were released to boost up the GBA Micro sales in Japan. And good game it is.
