  • Amy Irving to me is one of the most beautiful women that I have seen in my 18yrs on this planet.Anyone Agree with me?

  • @guatemala946 Yes, I agree!

  • Yes, @guatemala946 you're right, I totally agree with you! Amy Irving is gorgeous!

  • @jason80761 : I think its her genuinely crafted and gorgeous eyes. And That hair, Sweet Emotion!

  • @guatemala946 Yes mate, you can't forget those pair of big blue eyes, just one glimpse and you're in love...mmm... she's surely got that certain something! ; )

  • @jason80761 Shit man I was just thinking that, good on you Slim. Have A nice one.

  • chris, norma, miss collins, helen every1 that makes fun of carrie are such piece of shit!!!.carrie is very beautiful girl than thoses ugly bitches that bullies carrie.i be friends with carrie

  • i LOVE this music!!!

  • DePalma had a great way of shooting important scenes that had no dialogue.......actors had to really act, using their bodies, eyes, etc.

  • I saw this back when kids could not get entry to rated R movies. You had to wait for your parents to go to bed and go turn on the "cable box" to watch the good stuff. I hid my alarm clock under my pillow-got up at 1.30 am and watched this movie with the lights out. I almost had a heart attack at the end, and everytime I watch his as an adult the end scares the sh*t out of me.

  • Bummer that in the sequel, Sue became the Miss Collins character and also gets killed. The sequel sucked though and as far as I am concerned, not canon.

  • That must be my favorite scene of this movie, which is one of my favorite movies too...

  • adoro a Amy Irving, acho ela super linda, e uma SUPER atriz.. adoro o filme bossa nova, muito muito BOOOM!!!! :D:D:D:D

  • This scene from "Carrie" is so unforgettable, everything are perfectly syncs to the music, I'll never forget this scene of the movie, but the music (score) was awesome, exellent, wonderfull and unforgettable....indeed.

  • well daaa stupid video

  • Despues venia lo chachi! ^^

  • Its Delpalma who made this film. Plus the acting of Sissy Spacek and Piper laurie.

  • I love this movie....it's not just some killer going around killing teenagers.....this movie was realistic!

  • Stephen King is the best

  • That lick lip is always stunningly evil.

  • Do you mean when Chris licks her lips when she's about to pull the rope?

  • @CourtneyBenton Ja. It;s just sexy evilness.

  • really good scene!!!!!!

  • The only movie in all the scary movies I've seen that genuinely scared me (a really good scare like you WANT to get from a scary movie) :)

  • Sue could have prevented the whole tragedy if that teacher wasn,t so overprotective..... what irony :((

  • Amy Irving was so attractive; what a babe

  • I have not seen this movie but is this a horror movie our what?

    And does anybody dies

And if it is does John Travolta die?

  • Yes it is horror, and yes John Travolta does die.

  • about 60 people die, and john travolta dies.

  • @WazzupDude95 don't ask, just watch !!! :o)

  • John Travolta =]

  • Brian DePalma = freaking genius!! They just don't make them like this anymore!

  • Sue shouldn't try to find out who was behind the bucket prank when she realised the bucket and the cord. She should run to the stage and push Carrie out of the way before Chris was able to pull the cord.

  • good music at this scene.

  • God, this movie should have won an award for the music!

  • Goddamn that music gives me chills.

  • I love this music

  • Mrs. Collins is annoying sometimes.

  • This movie is flat out wonderful. All the acting is done perfectly, especially Sissy Spacek and Amy Irving. It's such a haunting tale, Stephen King knows how to take our darkest fears, like being humiliated in public, and taking them to such an outstanding level of terror.

  • they all got what they deserved, except for Mrs.Collins!

  • Carrie killed Mrs. Collins by accident.

  • Why mrs Collins laugh?

  • "Why mrs Collins laugh?"

I don't think Mrs. Collins, or indeed many other people in the room were laughing...some people were yes, but I think it's Carrie's warped imagination that made her hear a few people laughing and perceive it was the whole room, which is why the perspective gets so warped at that point in the movie.

Carrie's perception is warped by her past injustices and of course, her mother is a psycho.

  • Excuse me I dont!n speak english, I am venezuelan. I do not understand your words.

Yo pienso que Carrie asesino a Mrs. Collins porque ella tambien se estaba burlando cuando le echaron el balde con sangre encima ¿o no?

  • I'm really sorry, I don't speak any Spanish. I'm Canadian. Perhaps you can try a translating program...

  • i think carrie imaginined collins laughed - part of her kaleidoscope breakdown.

  • Also except Tommy.

  • Poor Carrie..what an evil pair Chris and Billy are, if only Miss Collins listened andd believed Sue she could of been a hero for stopping Chris and her evil friends.

  • Poor Sue she could have been the hero of the hour had Miss Collins not misunderstood her intentions.

  • @joglkopeh I know! That stupid considerated slut should have listen to Sue.

This part made me want to tackle Carrie and then tell her "It's a trap! Chris set you up Carrie!" Before I let them take me away, I would say

"There's a bucket of blood on the top of the ceiling! Don't let them fool you!"

  • @joglkopeh Miss Collins Knew Sue found the trap. That's why she threw her out. Miss Collins was in on it. Also, The White house is in Santa Paula, Ca. near 7th & Main. It also burned down mysteriously & is now chained off vacant lot. Coincidence or more? You be the judge. Scary!

  • @415resident - I always believed that Miss Collins thought Sue had second thoughts about Tommy taking Carrie to the prom and was upset to see them crowned king & queen and that she was trying to do something to ruin that moment for them (especially when they kissed, though Sue's reaction was because she realized what was about to happen to Carrie, not the kiss). Even in the book, Miss Collins (though less sympathetic than in the film) wasn't out to embarrass Carrie (she even lives in the book).

  • @joglkopeh I noticed that too

  • chris hargensen what a ledge

  • oh yes...when i first saw "carrie" i was 7 years old back in '77. My sisters took me to it to spook me out. I didn't want to see it, they told me we were gonna go see "escape to witch mountain" to get me to come, they lied to me. So i was stuck watching "carrie". The one thing that resonated with me was Carrie's suffering, I was also in awe of her natural beauty, I wanted to jump into the screen so I could rescue her,

  • Me too chewie baby.

  • me too, lol poorcarry, i would have been her friend, shes pretty at the prom

  • She is a Goddess, why do people have to be so mean? At least she got her vengeance.

  • bang! right in the face!

  • woot!
