People trash tap water because they want to feel better about themselves while they continue drink fluoride and chlorine, and cloramine. Of course people who continue to drink tap are going to say it is okay, that is until something happens to them that wakes them up to the realization that their could possibly be other things in tap water. Also at least we can view the ingredients in bottled water whereas in tap water no one knows exactly how they are cleaning it to make it safe to consume.
