NATO/ISAF have no interest in rebuilding Afghanistan, they want presence to keep eye on arse of USSR and China.

Afghan rebuilding is not possible until Afghanis don't embrace each other,there is no solution without Talebans.

External actors in Afghan war theater have to realize that, sooner the better.

Honestly the westernerers have not a fucking clue what are the ground realities in far off lands.

Taleban decision making was badly influenced by Alqaida,documented evidence is jirga before Banian destruction of Budha 50 M High statue.

It is not who Taliban were or what they did. Surely conservative and fanatic westerners never want Afghans to have an Afghan state. Dictating the ex-king Zaher Shah to not to be candidate for Luya jarga was the proof of their hostility towards Afghanistan.

Afghanistan land locked geography was center of culture and traditional osmosis for neighbor countries.Divided between classes of haves and havenots,didn't interfere with the social&cultural practices.

Alas than came the interests of USSR and America due to its strategic location.

USSR invasion sent established and well to do families in exile,Russian retreat left Afghanistan,with no recognition of sacrifices of Afghanis to have suffered due to cold WAR.
