Why did you want to experment with making ROTJ look like a crappy made for tv movie with those opening and closing credits. I mean your opening credits of ESB atleast were an attempt at keeping a cinematic feel to the opening, but this makes ESB look like a movie of the week
great, you made one of the best openings in film history to look like a cheap entrance to a tv series episode. I would say, bath yourself in a pool of Bantha poodoo
Well geez there's a reason Lucas always put the credits at the end. It just looks cleaner and its not as distracting as in other films. Sure he lost the support of the Director's Guild but the Star Wars saga is better for it.
Between Empire and Return is when Lucas went over to the Dark Side of movie making and got all wrapped up in the merchandizing. He's more of a merchandizer than a movie visionary, twisted and dweeble.
you known george lucas had to pay a mojor fine on empire for not puttting opening credits at the start that f up youll let him slide on a new hope but acusse him on empire 20th centry fox was so stupid for doin that
I like it. The opening credits were timed well, but John Williams should be mentioned in them somewhere.
I also think that the ending credits takes a huge effect away from the finality of all of those ending scenes, especially the Force Ghosts. And then when the rest of the credits role when the scenes end, it just feels more like a continuation than an actual end.
I fully agree with the points that you make. Overall, I think it was worth doing as an experiment, but I would never want to actually do it for a fan edit, etc.

@amity929 -- Some experiments succeed, and others are utter failures.

@zarras123 -- Well...if you don't like it, just watch the Blu-Ray instead.

The credits give it a TV movie feel to it. Glad Lucas fought to not have it.

Actually the directed by is usually the first credit but its usually "A "---" film. Or

@OMNIDESTRUCTION -- The point of the video was to see what the movie would look like with Opening Credits, etc..
It wasn't meant to show off my 1337 skills.

it was a good attempt but the end music killed it. I can see why now George Lucas did the way he did. The beginning was off to a good start though.

Well it certainly is interesting. It adds a new feel to the beginning and end, but yeah, I don't know how it would work for the film as a whole.

Return of the Jedi: The Series. :) I love the celebrations under the end credits. Was it you that did that before as well?
Oh, and poor Sally...

Yep. It' was me. This time the credits over it are better (because they're re-typed, not chroma-key'ed).
