  • Don't be silly don't buy a watch from them. I also bought an Omega watch. They were cheaper than anybody else, but since then I spent more than $500 fixing it.

The watches are from Gray market (most likely someone has returned the watch already). The warranty they have is a total scam.

    Richard

  • i wan to order a Bell & Ross with them any suggestions?

  • They are a TOTAL SCAM...they do not honor the warranty and demanded $350 for a repair on a less-than-3 year old Tag. The same repair cost $85 elsewhere. You might save on purchase price but you will be screwed in the long run. And their staff are rude to boot.

  • i would never use this company again one of the worst company experiences i have ever had. still trying to recoup money from them and all you get is the run around

  • and the irony of this is.....if the watch was running fast.......all they had to do is adjust the speed regulator needle on the balance bridge or just zap it in the demagnetizer. I finally learned watch repair myself after running into bad experiences

  • Thanks for posting. This just confirms my personal rule: never go gray market. If you know where to look, you can find authorized dealers who will discount nearly as much as most gray sellers. Even if you end up paying a little more going with an AD, it's worth it. Who knows where the hell the gray market people get their watches from. In the end, you get what you pay for.

  • 3 monhs wtf? I'd be so pissed off if i had to wait that long with that much money spent.

  • One year on and it seems they haven't got any better! We purchased a Tag watch from them and had it shipped to the UK. The battery went after 3 days of wearing. They told us to get it repaired locally but then refused to pay the bill! They offered me half of the money or a credit off my next purchase! The 30 day money back guarantee is useless and the attitude of their staff (including the boss) is awful. Stay away, spend a bit more and buy locally. Lesson learnt - you get what you pay for!

  • I bought a Rolex from them. It was perfect and exactly what I ordered...

  • Are watches bought directly from amazon any better?

  • thats why its better to buy from sacks or nieman marcus

  • I feel for you, I avoided these scammers thanks to your video!! Thank you for sharing!

  • hahahahahha thats what u get for buying the uglyiest watch on the market omega

  • @guninhatersdown... How by chance is it ugly? And may i ask where you learned to spell?

  • its fucking ugly get a fucking rolex or AP fagget how many watches like those do u have motha fuka i got too many so many u would hate me ,,,,,,SORRY TALK TO MY FACE ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,THE ONE ON MY WRIST BITCH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAH

  • @guninhatersdown Oh shit, looks like im talking to either a nigger, or a wanna be nigger. Get a life you high school drop out. And by the way, you spelled faggot wrong, but what would i expect from some nigger high school drop out? Judging by the fact that you cant even spell simple insults, or even "mother fucker" right, i seriously doubt you have a job that pays well enough for you to afford a rolex.

  • @guninhatersdown Oh, and Rolex watches are for douches, the only exception being their deep sea model. Omega stands for quality, offering you more then what you pay for. But a nigger/wannabe like you wouldn't know what quality or paying for something is like. You probably wear one of those shitty ass "soulja boy" style watches. ROFL, what a fucking disgrace to the human race people like you are.

  • sorry but ive had that watch before and it looks like shit on me or anybody i hate it dont be mad ive got too many things for you ,,,,just shut up broke fucker wheres your watches dumb fuck stop or i will make u look so stupid with everything ive got compared to u stoopid biatchhhh ....NOW BE A MAN AND SHOW ME ALL THE NICE SHIT U GOT ,,???

  • @guninhatersdown How about you be a nigger and go steal shit? Like a camera to record the shit you stole, then post it. "biatchhhh". Wow, of course a nigger would completely fuck up a simple word as "bitch." Do you even know how to use commas? Oh, i forgot, they dont teach niggers how to use commas in the ghetto. What things do you have? How could a nigger have anything besides his "rights".

  • @guninhatersdown "stop or i will make u look so stupid" I literally laughed my fucking head off at that. Your the one who looks so fucking stupid. Or should i say "stoopid". You cant even insult me properly. Its a damn shame how niggers were once the useless scum of the world, and now they have achieved even worse then that. Whatever, i give it a few months before you get your monkey ass locked up like the "stoopid" porch monkey you are.

  • @kevinsmusic matter of fact, i take that back. Its quite possible that you could be a little white boy who likes to act like hes a piece of shit. Either way, your insults mean little to nothing to me. Wigger or nigger, your still a disgrace to the world. Obviously your a mother was to much of a cunt to even think about wear protection, so thats how she had a fuck up like you. Its a damn shame she didn't abort the poor excuse of a person you turned out to be.

  • hahahah WHATS UP NOW KEVIN I DONT HERE U CRYING NOW THAT I SHOWED U EVERYTHING ,,,LIL BITCH ,,,,BY THE WAY EVERYBODY KEVIN IS A CIGARRETTE PANT WEARER AND EMO PUNK BAND SINGER WITH MEAN BANGS ON ONE SIDE OF HIS HEAD (HES GAY)

  • @guninhatersdown ROFL! nice try. Your trying to pull the same shit you tried to pull with pcturtakr. You never showed me your "H1 HUMMERS FERRARIS WATCHES STORES LIFE DOGS GIRL ANYTHING". I dont have skype you little whinny bitch. I never saw any of your shit. All you have is a bunch of stupid little fishes.

  • @guninhatersdown And wtf is a "CIGARRETTE PANT"? I wear south pole jeans. Yes, a cheap brand of jeans, but jeans none the less. "EMO PUNK BAND SINGER WITH MEAN BANGS ON ONE SIDE OF HIS HEAD". You are by far the most stupid, illeterate person i have ever met. You obviously took one look at my profile and posted that. ITS A VIDEO I SAVED IN MY FAVORITES YOU IDIOT! Its called Rap Medley (Lil' Wayne, T.I., Akon, Nelly) - The Twentyfours.

  • @kevinsmusic A band that i have no affiliation with. I myself cant stand screamo or rock, or emo bullshit. I only added that video because they did a nice acoustic version of several R&B songs i happen to like. And just to let you know, im not gay. I have a girlfriend. Unlike you sorry ass. All you have are stupid little fish and a couple of boxer puppies you probably trained to dogfight. For you to try to make blows at whether or not im straight shows that your desperate.

  • You have anger issues. And would you dare call a black man a racial slur to his face? It's very easy to talk big behind the glare of a computer monitor. Oh, and by the way, I am black and a muti-millionaire.

  • @Brewern07 And after dealing with a lying asshole like guninhatersdown i have no fear and saying that i dont believe that you are indeed a multi-millionaire. Now dont get me wrong, its very possible you are, but after dealing with his lies of owning "Ferrari, multiple homes in Cuba, Mexico, and Canada, and money to blow" i dont believe everything i read or hear.

  • @Brewern07 And as for me calling him a nigger: Theres a difference between niggers and blacks. Niggers are foul, uneducated pieces of trash that have disgraced themselves by lacking the intelligence to make the right choices. Blacks are people, just like you or me, that arent social rejects. As for your "glare of a computer monitor" remark, your the one who feels brave enough to say that i have anger issues when odds are you havent read his comments towards me.

  • I apologize. I will go back and read Guninhatersdown's comments towards you.

  • I was going to buy my Seamaster from them too. But I'm willing to pay extra for a little piece of mind at an Authorized Dealer. I just sent my watch to Omega for repairs and feel confident they will do their best.

  • Hi, I almost purchased a Seamaster from them, but went to a local dealer who recommended I look at feedback on the web. Thanks to you, Authentic watches won't be seeing a dime from me !

  • Ive bought an Omega watch from these people. The watch stopped working after about 6 months. After the watch was send back for repairs, they came up with a lie that the watch was damaged by over-winding and it will cost$350 for the repairs.

The 3 year AutenticWatches warranty is worth as much as the paper that was printed on

Remember, these watches are from the grey market. Most of the watches they sell had a manufacturing fault and were already returned to the original Omega dealer.

  • I have purchased two Breitlings from them over the years and both work perfectly. I would buy again.

  • Thank you for taking time to post this. I was considering ordering from them...but obviously not any longer.

  • I am experiencing exactly the same problem. I have an Omega Speedmaster, which I bought for not an inconsiderable sum two years ago. It wasn't keeping time so I sent it to Omega in the UK. On the plus side it is authentic, on the down side I was looking at £300 to have it repaired. I then paid £80 to send it back to AuthenticWatches who have now told me that I need to pay an additional $295 for a routine overhaul - what a funny coincidence! I am now taking legal action.

  • Hi

Am having the same issue with my Tag Heuer F1 Chrono. It was bought as a present, but am being stung to pay for an "overhaul" which isn't covered under the 3 yr warranty (still a yr to run) Would like to know what legal action you're taking & how you get on - want to do the same, but not sure how best to start proceedings... Alex

  • One should never purchase a luxury timepiece from other than an authorized dealer of that timepiece. An online timpiece merchant can easily and nightmarishly turn out to be nothing more than a miserable huckster, unschooled in the timepiece with which he is dealing. There are many luxury timepieces available. Research them on their official websites only and obtain the peace of mind by purchasing fom an authorized dealer who may also have certified pre-owned watches as well.

  • Thats an oxymoron.

  • Steer well clear of on-line watch vendors, their after sales 'service' is often very poor & their timepieces are 'grey market' imports so are never supplied with authentic guarantees, they will only provide their own in-house versions. For peace of mind I recommend only ever purchasing via an authorised dealer.

  • I have had one for years and had exactly the same problem

  • Im from the Philippines and planning to buy Tag Heuer Formula 1(Kimi Raikonen) in authentic watches. Can anyone give their suggestions? Thank you...

  • If you went through Amazon, also complain to them since they use AW as a third party. Yes, keep posting and maybe if nothing else save other people from such treatment. :)

  • 1markinoregon- thanks for posting your experience. Maybe this company will start to take customer service and more seriously if enough people complain. A company who does this is not behaving according to any ethical business standards I can imagine. What you describe is similar to my experience. I eventually got my watch back, but after a LONG time. Maybe get a lawyer to write a certified letter, demanding the watch back and repaired at no cost, and that they pay your lawyer's fees. Good luck!

  • I'll give them a little more time to make everything right, but in the meantime, I've posted a review on the BBB TrustLink site, and I'll keep posting negative reviews throughout the web until I get my watch.

  • At least the unrepaired watch was returned. I bought a $2000 TAG Heuer from AuthenticWatches in May 2007, and sent it it for a warranty repair last month. They responded that it needed a routine overhaul that wasn't covered by their warranty, and I needed to pay $295 to get it fixed, so I asked them to return the watch to me unrepaired. That was May 25. Four weeks and two phone calls later, they still haven't shipped my watch back to me. I'm wondering if I'll ever see my $2000 watch again.

  • i bought an omega seamaster 4 yrs ago now and i was going to buy from the internet but i did some research and i realised buying from a retailer makes more sense in the long run if you buy cheap you look cheap i paid £1.100 and still love my watch never had a problem with it going to get is serviced soon you cant do that with watches from authentic watches omega wont touch them

always buy your wtach from autherised omega dealer or rolex

  • i was going to buy a watch from them, now I am not. I will buy a Rolex instead.

  • Dont be silly, Im sure if you were unlucky a Rolex could have a problem. The speedmaster went to the moon, dont let a youtube vid of 1 watch put you off all omegas

  • I've purchased from Authentic Watches. Never a problem, great service. I think the problem here would by far be the exception, not the rule.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this experience with us... That's what I am looking for. Now, I would wait till i go to Omega shop just to get one.

  • THANK YOU! for posting this, I was going to spend $3k with Authentic Watches. Their Ebay rating looks good, perhaps complaints to Ebay will help b/c that's where they generate a lot of traffic from. I will save some more money and buy locally.

  • You're welcome. I too was really surprised, but check their Better Business Bureau rating for confirmation... Now I'm out a lot of money, but I have learned my lesson.

  • I have purchased many watches from authentic watches over the years as I am an avid collector and reseller of to watches. I have never had a problem and have never received a fake watch ( all watches are taken to authorised dealers here in Australia to verify authenticity when I buy from authentic watches. I think a couple of dud watches out of the tens of thousands they have sold, should be expected as not even the best watchmakers have perfect watches 100% of the time.

  • His complaint is NOT regarding the authenticity of the watch rather the companies lack of any customer service and the poor repair job.

I'm certain that they sell originals however if they can't back the sale with good customer service and repair then they might as well be selling fakes.

  • it doesnt look like a fake, and the poster never claimed it was fake. it is just a bad repair job. the only difference w/ buying from authenticwatch is that they repair it themselves if there is a problem. if you buy from an authorized dealer, they will send it to omega to repair. but there are many stories about omega itself not doing that great of a job fixing it. best route is to find a good local watchmaker to fix it right.

  • ITS MADE IN CHINA!

  • everything is made in China. Now take out parts from your computer because they're made in China. And be naked

  • high end watches should not be purchased online spend the extra fucking money since you are already spending thousands go to authorized dealers!

  • I agree. I recently acquired an Omega Seamaster Professional with the black bezel from an AD. The monetary savings are definitely eclipsed by certainty of origin. Could not be happier with the watch or with Bailey, Banks, and Biddle jewelers. Good buying experience.

No affiliation with them at all, just passing along information on creditable companies.

  • anyone who buys a high end watch on the internet is a dumb ass and deserves to be ripped off.

  • I've had a Tag watch from Authentic Watches for 16 months. It's been worn about 20 days in that period. I've sent it in several times for the same problem that it had when I first received it. They once had it for over 4 months. They can't fix it and won't replace it. DO NOT BUY from Authentic Watches. Their Better Business Bureau rating is a "D". Other people have had the same problems with them. Wish I'd known that sooner - I'm out over $1600.

  • thats why i have replicas. are cheap, i can buy a lot ,i will never bored wearing them and if they broke they broke who cares.

  • quite sad if u were replicas, they look shit/ and feel shit!

  • You wear replicas because you are poor, and you dont have a sense of elegance

  • Live and learn, the temptation to buy on line is great but spend a few hundred more and you buy the right to bitch at someone face 2 face and to get really ugly ...

  • Just looks like a bad service. I'm sure they will fix it for you. I believe their warranty only covers the watch if you don't service it elsewhere.

  • You don't have to send it back again, I asked at our local Omega dealer in Vancouver Canada- they said ANY Omega dealer, on presenting your certificate, should repair any flaws FREE!! I hope you receive this and can get it properly serviced, most likely very close to where you live!

  • I've never know Authentic Watches to sell fakes... seems you just got a retard to fix it. Take the back off (yourself or dealer) and check the movement... that can't be faked. I'm sure you'll find the it's real... just mishandled during transport from Bienne to you. Either way I'd insist on a replacement (take the back off that one too just to be sure... ha)

  • Sorry that you had this experience. Unless you are infirm, I recommend visiting an authorized dealer vice buying on line. Omegas are available at most local jewelry shops. Good luck.

  • Call law enforcement what they did to you is NOT legal!

  • the watch looks gen, just had a bad service i recon, what have they said? are they going to fix.?

  • Is the watch a genuine Omega? I think you might have a fake watch, never mind a fake repair service.
